What is your favorite/greatest Accomplishment in game?

back 2 back pcc's in under observation runs. fun times. but feeling accomplishment wise was when i would help my buds doing crazy redundent tasks like farming hecteye eyes all around vana~land, and just helping in general, and excepting those challanges that would arrise in the proccess like "oh whats that nm drop?" Gale:"idk lets find out!" (as he rushes in using hundredfists and not wasting any time to formulate a plan to pull the mob safely) :P another happy accomplishment ...getting blm to 75 as a galka and farming all those hard to get spells together with my buds, and that darn sleepga 2 quest >.>

Yeah, beating Maat was the only time in the entire 8years I played this game that I actually got up off my chair and cheered. It was such an ordeal because I had to solo farm the testimony. No one helped because they said it would be worth it in the end if I did it myself -- they were right~ I farmed it as RDM/NIN and my gear was terrible -- like TERRIBLE -- so it took forever to kill just ONE magic pot. It took a month and 1m gil for meds. One million gil was a lot of money back then!

Other achievements, I just clapped gleefully.

Running a linkshell thats been around since NA inception, tons of server firsts for fights and NA kills, world first for dyna-qufim, and to any oldschooler of asura, being one of the instigators for the BTD.

My greatest accomplishment is an ongoing one:

Keeping the meaning of what a true adventurer is alive.


That, and reminding/teaching others what that is, as well as finding and forging some pretty rad bonds with others in the process.

Getting all my zone boss wins and caturae wins without leeching off and end game LS. Finishing head/hands/leg/feet +1 for every job of every member of my low man group.

divine might after joining 3-4 failed runs this was the first thing i ever tried to organise in this game to put together a pick up group and finally beat this at the time felt pretty epic
captain rank just because had so much fun doing this with my ls
40 min fight soloing my blm af hat on pld/thf just because lol

id love to add to this getting 5/5 on pld relic but even with the new drop rates dynamis still hates me still 3/5 after 5years its all junk now but damn it i want to finish it

Well the way i see it and the hope i have for this thread is, no matter what it is that makes you proud of what you did, it could be something as simple as your first job to lvl 10 or your journey to get your sub job, or the first time you helped someone get there sub job. No matter what makes you proud, its you that did it and its you that makes the game what is it today, if your happy with it thats all the counts.

Thanks for everyone that has posted and i hope many more post in the future New players and Veterans alike, we all make the game and i enjoy it more and more everyday.

I'm somewhat of a fashion guy when it comes to this game. I couldn't get a Barone Corazza to show up on the AH to save my life. So I started collecting the ingredients and found a crafter. I paid him for my appreciation and strut across Whitegate in my new piece.

And for any of you Dragoons who wants to follow the fashion: O-hat, Barone Corazza & Cosciales, and AF Hands and Feet.

I really miss being able to solo / duo stuff on bst charming local mobs..

like soloing aquarius in the boyahda tree

or duoing ancient goobue at lvl 75


took 3 bst to do voluptuous vivian at 75 lol.. she ate like half the zone >_<

@75 6 manned suzy then died due to chainspell managed to recover and got win. funny thing is nearly all abjs hit floor.
