Like I said if it's ridiculous the devs won't add it. and if it's a legitimate gripe, it's worthy of consideration but doesn't necessarily need to be implemented. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's not. They don't need someone in here to add a contrarian opinion to anything they see that they don't agree with. That's not with this thread is for. As for your comments being construed as personal attacks maybe it would help of the vast majority of your posts weren't negative responses with ellipses added for extra condescending effect.

As for "ellipses for extra dramatic effect," perhapse you could quote examples of this? I don't do anything "for dramatic effect," at all, period. If I post its is my personal and passionately held opinion, not something done just for the sake of drama or conflict.
Perhaps you have me confused with Beastorizer, who did in fact use ellipses. I, however, did not. And I had to dig through multiple pages of my own posts to find more than one use of an ellipsis, so I'm calling [Citation Needed] on that one. Not to say that I never use them but there is nothing wrong with that by itself. I feel like you're making something out of nothing here. -

Yes, very occasionally I add some snark but that does not reflect the reality that the majority of the time, I'm just giving an opinion in a normal manner. While I do not dispute that on a few occasions I've added some snark that didn't need to be there, I vehemently disagree with the notion that it's anything other than the exception and not the rule.
Oh, and that last one? It comes from the thread that one person has bee posting nonstop for the last three+ years. Unlike your post, it is basically the one thread on this entire forum that aboslutely deserves the rude response. What they are doing is unhealthy, and it's gotten to the point that if they were to miss a day, we'd be worried something happened to them. Posting screenshots of your STF reports every day was completely useless after maybe the first week, after the point was made. Yes, we know they don't act on the reports.
We human beings are imperfect creatures, you can't tell me you've never been rude even once in your life.
It is you who needs the reality check. I do not respond to posts purely to "bash" them. I'm giving my honest opinion about something I disagree with, and you're taking it personally. That's all there is to it. Just because I disagree with a particular idea doesn't mean I don't like you or anyone else, and letting my feelings go unsaid when I have them is not conducive to offering feedback to help SE make a better game. Disagreeing is not the same as being rude. You need to accept that not every idea you come up with is going to be the best one in the universe, and that sometimes people will disagree with them. Like I said before- your perspective is biased because agreement usually doesn't require a response. I've supported and backed many ideas on this forum, but it seems like everyone ignores when that happens.
I disagreed with your suggestion here because it's trying to solve a problem that doesn't really exist and can be avoided easily, and therefore not worth the limited development time available to the people still working on the game- Not because I don't like you, not with any intention of being rude to you, and not "just because." I'm genuinely sorry you feel that way. But I can't do anything about that, other than try to ensure that I avoid anything unnecessary in the response. I'm not going to be silenced, just because someone might not like hearing from someone that their idea might not be the best one.
You have to understand my perspective on things like this- Suppose the dev team can add or fix ten (arbitrary number for argument purposes, nothing more) things in a month, my interest in the best game possible wants them to work on the ten things that have the most impact- Hence why I responded to your suggestion the way I did.
The only time things get to an "unnecessary degree" is in cirtmstances like this wherre you or others attack me for disagreeing. There is nothing wrong with disagreeing. If we all agreed on everything, there wouldn't be much need for a forum. Stop taking it personally when someone thinks your idea isn't the best. Maybe I need to start screenshotting all the posts I click "Like" on just to prove that I do like things. Like I said before, your perspective of me is biased because you only see the words I type in disagreement, not the times I backed an idea by "Like"ing it. And SE themselves have said they use the "like" feature on feedback when analyzing what might be important to players, so that probably has more impact than an affirming reply. You got likes on your post, so frankly you shouldn't be so concerned about someone not liking it. So what if I think it's not worth addressing? It's not the only opinion you received, you know. Voiddust is basically a useless item. When Voidwatch was the highest-level content around, doing three fights and then going home might have been a reasonable approach to the content, but now it's a five minute fight. Only being able to top up to three stones means more time is spent running back to town to recharge than actually fighting, even with warps.
Please, just let us trade voiddust in to increase our reserve stock of voidstones by 1, instead of requiring it to be used only to acquire actual voidstone key items. -
