Error UCS-5024 (why can't i reactivate?!?!?!)

Wow. Really, SE? The absolute best solution you could figure out was to ignore upward of 8000 posts, and neither do or even say a single word? Do you even care about the millions of dollars in revenue you will lose when half of your NA players quit? Especially after the hit you just took from the crisis? And what about the lawsuits that can arise from charging people for a service that you no longer offer? Nothing at all, eh? Well, I guess we will all just have to accept that you guys are planning on running your company into the ground, and get together with our attorneys and figure out how much you owe us. Thanks for doing this after I was finally convinced to end my 2 year break from the game. Other than today (my day off) I am not going to be able to have any longer length of time to level or complete lengthy endgame quests for awhile. Needless to say, I am rather upset and outraged that a company the size of yours is unable to deal with even the most minor customer complaints, let alone hundreds of broken contracts.

Not a single customer support employee, in your entire firm, has 30 seconds to even attempt to save you some face by at least acknowledging the existance of the people who pay your salary? (And do not get anything in return, clearly.)

I logged on fine with my brother's account, I'm not sure mine happens to be not working. I called my credit card company, nothing amiss with them. A little over 800 people currently on Titan. I'm going to try to log in and reactivate or whatever it wants me to do here in about 15 minutes when the Phase 2 of maint is done.

Nice, "April is free" as my account is deactivated right now for a lack of funds on my payment information. There are funds on my card, it's the same card I have reserved just to pay for FFXI and it's never comprimised, and now I'll be paying for April when I activate my account via the same method you use to double charge your customers. Way to still get your money SE. Well, I shouldn't really say that either because you fail hard at even making POL work correctly "durhur" to you I say! Ya know, I feel for your people but when ya do stupid crap like this it makes me really not give a shit about you.

same error... i didn't realize me card expired in march and i got a new one but never changed it... fixed when they asked now i can't get in.. and of course you can't talk to anyone until monday..

Still unable to log in, same "account has been closed or service fees not paid" message (LM-08), then when I select Reactivate and enter my information UCS-5024 invalid process. I take this to mean maint still isn't done or they've had some kind of strange complication with it.

I guess on the upside I'll get my paper done a few days before its due... hopefully things will be straightened out by tonight but without customer support, or really any word from SE, who knows? How many people over the years have had issues that just happen to fall outside of SE's service hours? I'll tell you, too many damn people for how good of a game this is. If I've been pissed when I die to NMs or waiting for NMs to spawn for countless hours, it's nothing compared to how frustrating it is not to be able to log into the game itself when you've consistently kept with payments, let alone been given a "free month" and not be able to log in. ;) Guess I'll check back in a few hours. Until then...

Guess I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with this issue. I'm sure they will eventually resolve it, but yeah I feel for everyone who normally plays on the weekends.

Well for them to say there working on server maint. today and not have fixed this issue by now is completely unreal and to have to wait till monday no excuse if they were willing to do other work today. Same thing i posted on other thread and yes i mean by now all one can say is, Really SE come on! We know your there.

At least they could update the info board and let us know something...

Id happily pay for the month instead of haveing this happen, really annoying and yea what there waiting around for to say who knows.

I am getting the same thing. I don't get any further than UCS-5024 much less try to activate anything. Why in the hell do this on the weekend when they know people work and are looking forward to playing on their off days?

Will at less FF14 is Free i Might as will play it untell fix this stuff

When will be the anouncement of the new guy that will replace the guy that should be fired for this pathetic display?

I have to say I am getting same error (UCS-5024) , but past the point of mad. It is so ridiculous we always have to just deal when these things happen and no support to fix it as it happens. My boyfriend on other hand is getting the unpaid message and we have plenty of funds to cover the billing we aren't suppose to have for the month of April.

You know, its *** like this that SE pulls on the one night a week were I can stay up late and play, they seriously need to get there act together.

Error code 5024 sucks!!!

I know how that is, I was excited about staying up late and getting things done myself.

It is happening to me UCS-5024. I cannot log in or reactivate. My wife's account which has the exact same credit card information is perfectly fine. She is able to log in and play. This is so unfair!

Not to mention those that are waiting for the Registration server to be up, my wife is able to access the server and activate and cancel an account, but I am not able to do anything. SE this sucks!

That just really ticks me off hearing that

I am getting the same problem. The description below provides a clear step by step description of what is happening. Hopefully a moderator will weigh in. Make sure everyone opens technical support cases with PlayOnline also.

I usually play FFXI all weekend, every weekend, although in the past I have played a lot more during the week also. And I just played FFXI last night. However, all of a sudden I cannot play due to this problem.

When I logged into my Play Online/FFXI Account this evening to play FFXI, I received an error message stating “PlayOnline services currently cannot be accessed because the selected PlayOnline Account has already been closed, or because service fees have not been paid. By reactivating your PlayOnline account, you will be able to access PlayOnline Services again. Reactivate PlayOnline Account? (LM-08)”.

When I click the “Reactivate Button”, I am taken to a Playonline logon screen where I enter my Playonline ID and Password and then I click the “Log In” button.

Immediately after I click the “Log In” button, I get “Error UCS-5024. Invalid process. Please exit the current application”.
At that point, I am unable to do anything more, except log off.

If I try and log in via the PlayOnline membership information portion of the square-enix website at https://secure.square-enix.com/cisweb/app, I get an error that says “PlayOnline services currently cannot be accessed because the selected PlayOnline account has already been closed, or because service fees have not been paid. By reactivating your PlayOnline account, you will be able to access PlayOnline services again. For more information, please log in to the PlayOnline Viewer. (LM-8)”.

Hopefully a moderator will weigh in on this issue and provide some kind of time line to getting this fixed.

Been kinda reading all day about this issue, same thing was happening to my husband and I but I go into POL now to see if there was any changes and it says my password is not correct...I can log into Friendslist Plus on the playonline website, can go into my SE account...but for some reason when I go into POL it won't let me log in.... wonder if its connected.

SE, this issue is not fixed. You can login and when it says reactivate it goes straight to USC-5024. Please answer.

How long until they fix the reactivation? 3pm PST?

According to SE they've already fixed it.

The steps did NOT work for me.

When I click the “Reactivate Button”, I am taken to a Playonline logon screen where it says “Confirm Membership: Please enter your PlayOnline ID and PlayOnline Password to confirm membership information”, and there is no option to navigate anywhere else except to enter the user id and password.

So, I enter my Playonline ID and Password and then I click the “Log In” button.

Immediately after I click the “Log In” button, I get “Error UCS-5024. Invalid process. Please exit the current application”.

At that point, I am unable to do anything more, except log off.

This is still NOT fixed.
