THF are crazy DD in abyssea. ~6k Evis, super quick TP, triple damage often, high evasion/parrying, decent Subtle Blow. Me and my friend kill Glavoid <5 min (2x thf)

I saw crazy ninja too with Emp. weapon, they probably leading as best DD. :P (they Subtle Blow V + Myoshu: Ichi = Amazing) I saw a ninja solo kill Bennu.... and i was shocked, Bennu did max 1 WS the entire fight lol

(Again depend how you see BEST DD) if is only BEST Peek DMG then i guess BLM (saw SS with 13k+ dmg)

I base Best DD with: Survivability, DoT, WS dmg

ima burst you bubble and tell you that you can get to capped subtle blow on thf too because it caps at 50 and 50 is 50% so he was still feeding half the TP he was.

I'm not sure, maybe they fixed that in the same update that fixed the same issue with the OA2/OA3 magian weapons. But now that I think of it, SP can only get an additional 1 fTP from the aftermath since it's already a 7 hit WS and there's the 8-hit cap per round (6 hit WS+the extra hit for being H2H, if I'm not mistaken).

Then again, the automaton would gain DA too, and with the RNG automaton, that's a lot of additional 2K Armor Piercers...

hehe don't ask me how... but Bennu was not using TP move, i said it in my post, i got shocked, he had weird sub job also, i can't remember maybe something like /mnk, his only source of healing was temp item. [keep in mind Bennu have a terrible Terror move] You won't see often a nin attempt to solo this NM, and chance you see one success is probably rare as win a kclub lol.

As much i would like to argue on this, i just can't =/ I see a tons of people saying how WAR with Emp GA is the crazy DD, but never saw one in action :(

What about Survivability? (because all i know is WAR used to be a paper tank.)

Of course i do feel cleave on my war, is fun to see bunch of mob dropping like fly, just hope is not reason people say WAR best DD -.- (in some sense they are for CHEST burn, EXP burn)

Nope, 3.5~6k is what i do constant (I have lol-mandau lv90) Was talking about peek dmg on Evis, my average is ~4k

What are you averaging 4k on, I find that to be incredibly unbelievable. Are you eyeballing?

I'd say do research on every job. Thoroughly. After which, decide which job you think you could do the best damage on
and play it. Get the best gear and stuff and off you go.
On that note I'd have to say mythic DRG and emp WAR at the moment. Although you can never tell with SE, they might bring out a weapon for BRD 2 months before they shut the servers down permanently...

I only do 1500-3500 Evis on thf, I'm not well geard but most ive seen is 6k with Top WS gear.
1 Ls mate has lvl 85 relic and he cant break 2k most times with Str atma. so umm Video it plz if you hit anything above 4k

ok, Haste + Doub/trip att+ Store Tp = Monk then nin then thf for how fast they can WS. Emp Weapon max ive seen on a Nin is 6k Max on a monk @ 90 is 9k Max ive seen on a WAR is 7k check youtube vids for "War solo Sedna" for exact numbers but War isnt best 1 on 1, there best at Fell cleave. and for over all Damage Level Blue mage 10k damage in 10 sec.

Max Ukko's I've seen posted was 11-12k iirc? Was versus Glavoid, all crits +DA/TA to be sure. Max Jishnu's I've seen posted is 9.8k I believe, don't know if someone posted higher.

Why is there no mention of bacon mage damage?
After BCN it's probably war/sam though.

out of the sam, war and drk that i have drk seems to do the most dmg per hit ranging from 300-400 per hit and 700-800 on a crit in abyssea but my war has the hardest hitting WS out of the 3.

Depends on the situation and mob you are fighting realy. I love warrior personaly FC is ubber aoe killer along with blu and blm but when you can take 5 bsts and beat up kirin with out help in non zurg format in less 10 mins.... Its hard to tell. Each job has its ups and downsides or soloablity. Play how you want and enjoy the game thats what matters :) knowing your job and how it is used always rember skill > gear also :)

I can assure you all that the war/sam that comes and pumps out massive damage the first 5 seconds of a fight, isn't going to end up being the highest DD in the group by the end of the fight. Know why? Cause he's dead after that first weapon skill and my whm butt is over here trying to keep the party alive. I don't have time to raise him mid fight. So he got off one awesome weapon skill, and the taru brd over there swinging a dagger out damaged the war at the end of the fight. Speaking as a 7 year whm veteran, I can assure you, those people that think just cause they can pop out one 6 k weapon skill and then spend the rest of the fight dead or hiding in a corner weakened means they are ubber are definitely not ubber. Pretty fail if you ask me. Blms are the same freaking way. You don't start a fight out with Firaja and expect to live through it. Trust me, I'll take a sam pumping out 2k weapon skills regularly and surviving the fight over a 6k weapon skill and then death any day of the week.

Going to go ahead and call that a lie, or at the very least extremely misguided information. The emp group I'm in consists of war, sam, whm, thf and guess who the tank normally is? With 4 people we have no issues killing anything in abyssea.

yeah i have WHM and i have to literally let someone die unless it 1 shots them..

Maybe it's also because me and the war aren't retarded; we both have PDT and MDT sets.
