I love crystals!

How about a system that lets vote be casted for which kupo powers a server wants. The system can start when the mog tablets break. And when the last one is found, the vote is tallied, and the highest votes are the powers we receive! And it resets every time they break, so you can always choose new ones!
Speaking of this, why doesn't the forum system let us incorporate user polls into the starting post of a thread? From what I can see here, the community devs aren't even able to do that sort of thing. I am pretty sure that it wouldn't be that hard to implement, considering that there are so many forums with this option.
These are the three most usefull, I think.
1.Double duration of food effects
2.Double the amount of conquest points received
4.Shops that sell San d’Oria/Bastok/Windurst specific items will sell them full-time
Yes indeed. The entire CP attainment and purchasing system should be looked and rebalanced, in my opinion, so that new players could get decent gear progression as they leveled and gained CP. The low-level gear from the AH is in very low supply these days anyway, so it would be fine if they could get something like 33-50% of their gear from CP by leveling up normally. It could supply enough for them to replace for example their weapon, body armor, legs and feet every... 15 levels? Something like that.
4, 2 and 1.
Add me to the 2, 4, 1 crowd
I get the feeling they are going to pull the vote for a jug move and give us #3 <_<
1,2 and 4 here
4, 1, and 2, in that order.
How about one that makes guild stores stay open at all hours and every game day?
As a crafter on cooking do not allow the food to last longer and more crystal to drop the price down, but on the other side make food last longer.
Conquest points would be great, since no one does the 200exp party no more.
The city ones would be good, It can keep some the alchemy and cooking foods in check, and help some people to craft up to 70.
I choose twoooooo!!! (#2) ^^

There is a lot of good ideas, I personally think Super Kupowers should get more lines, Cause 3 up at once is not cutting it.

Are these being promised to us? Or are you just informing us that we'll have the possibility of three new Kupowers? And if I, along with a bunch of other NA players, vote #2, #4, and #1 in that order and a single Japanese votes #3 does that mean we'll get #3?
Apparently, these are the things that we need to be clear of.
I think its pretty obvious at this point that they don't really care about the votes so much as the reasoning behind them and that far more Japanese input get's taken into consideration. This is probably largely due to the fact that the Devs / producers can pop in and read the JP threads just like we do, where as they have to schedule time with Camate and crew (different time zones / busy schedules) to get our opinions. Which means that they probably get a very condensed version with a lot of the better parts glossed over completely.
That said, I would love 2 and 4 because I hate having to go to a different city to buy a friggin piece of garlic or something, and I never can seem to get enough CP.
I don't like the other two choices, because one hurts crafters by cutting sales to people exping / skilling in these areas in half, and the other increases drop rates on something that there are too much of already.
I don't know about anyone else but I had an experience where I bought cells with CP by accident and now I'm finding it difficult to build that back up to a decent amount.
it's funny, but the double food duration won't impact the sale of any stackable food, because you can still only buy them in stacks, and the price of material won't change. It might influence the non-stacking food, because people won't want to pay as much, but honestly, crafters are a stubborn lot, and we're not going to just sell things at half price because DDs will get twice as much use out of them. We still need to make a profit, and our crafting cost won't change, so why in the world would we change our prices more than they normally fluctuate?
That, and anyone who things #3 would actually result in more crystals, it will, maybe a whole extra 2-3 stacks a day, to go on top of the already perpetually high double digit stacks of crystals made up of people selling crystals for 2-3 times what they're worth because they can get way with it. Seriously, how often do you try to buy a few stacks and of the 70+ stacks, not a single one is at the listed price, or even 1-2k over it?
I vote 3 because crystal prices are stupidly expensive.
I can clearly see how buying stacks half as often would affect sales, but you gotta remember that they won't buy stacks half as often every week. With 12 kupowers, 3 active at the same time, this particular food duration will over time only be active roughly 25% of the time. And the duration still isn't further increased in non-conquest areas, where a lot of the playing is taking place. Then you also gotta remember that if you for some reason die within an hour, you lose the food effect prematurely too.

I like the idea of more crystals. But letting them drop in beastmen zones, and only when this kupo power is active, wont impact crystal availability at all. (and as for farming them in sky, that doesn't help new or low lvl players much) (altering it to current crystal drops are tripled, now that would be nice!)
Double food duration is nice to. But along the same lines, i don't think it will be all that effective. If we still had a majority Man pt system, then yes this would be great. But most leveling is either solo low lvl (where food not really needed), GoV parties with 18 ppl in which case food really isn't needed, or abyssea for mid-high lvl players where kupo powers don't effect players. Now their are some areas this would be nice. But as a whole, its effect would be quite limited.
Double conquest points and town item supply, i can argue against them. Even if limited, they would be helpful.
Which was basically the point I was implying. Basically, the only things double food duration would greatly influence are voidwatch, KS99/ground Kings (if doing more than 1), and skilling up. Sky, Sea, Limbus, Dynamis, all of ToAU (Einherjar, Salvage, Assault, Nyzul, Neo-Nyzul), all of WotG (Walk of Echoes, MMM, the upcoming Meeble Burrows (which takes place in one of the WotG dungeons, like MMM)), Abyssea, Legion, and Provenance are all excluded from super kupowers. People use food for a lot more than just voidwatch, so while it might slow down sales a bit, it won't be huge. Especially since most of the buyers aren't intending to use the entire stack of food in a single sitting every single time. Some will, sure, but most people don't have the patience to burn the same thing for 6 hours. And as mentioned, that also assumes they don't die, which negates the increased duration regardless.
Good evening!
Thank you for placing your votes on the new Super Kupowers!
Your first set of votes were tallied up last Monday morning, so let's take a look at what we have here:

Seems like #3 was not too popular. /comfort crystals
Option #2 was the most popular but the number of votes compared to the other two candidates was not a huge difference.
We will continue to survey your votes throughout the week and all region's feedback will weigh in on our moogles' final kupo'rmation. Ahem... confirmation.
We continue to look forward to your feedback!
#1, #2 in that order.
2, 1, and 4 in that order. I don't know why you're still collecting data for this. If you were looking for 3 results than the community's preference is obvious.
The fact that they're still looking for votes implies that one of the other regions is voting for 3 over the other too, and god help us if it's the JPs. Someone quickly, Rosetta Stone Japanese, German, and French, and make sure they're not doing something weird.
edit:
Looks like the JPs seem to be agreeing with us, and the Germans only got one response. The French don't seem to have even gotten a thread about it.
That said, it was rather amusing to skim through the JP thread and, while not being able to read it, still make out a very obvious pattern of 1s, 2s, and 4s :D
#4 is winning with JP. 1+2 are tied.
All is well in the world, then.
