Looks like we are heading West. Trademark through Square-enix just showed up with the name "Seekers of Adoulin" I don't think that could be deciphered as anything other then FFXI oriented :P.

"So where shall we make this new expansion take place? The Mithran homeland to the south, the long awaited far east, the western continent or the Giga and Orcish Empire to the north?"
"How about that one isle mentioned only twice in the game?"
In all seriousness though, I do like the sound of that. Only thing I know about Adoulin from the game is that its home to a large library and a Dragoon. The Scholar and Dragoon in me certainly don't mind that.
I'm still going to expect more of the same until they prove differently, but I'll certainly play to experience the new zones and (hopefully) story. Hopefully it will be enjoyable enough to keep me around longer, but if its anything like recent content or WotG then... Ugh...
Go West~!
life is peaceful there.
agree that weird to use that for a full expansion, but can make sens for an add-on
if dragoon lived there some wyrms might be there tooQuote:

SE said they will add the missing elements wyrms.
a new wyrm centered add on look good for me, just hope some story line and not all the new wyrm being world pops HNM
... well im excited that there is full proof of an expansion... however i've never even talked to any npc's that mentioned the area, i had to go to the BGwiki to find links to the campain dragoon mercenary in order to find mention of this location.
some how im with spank in the wotg -1 department considering their choice of area to be an expansion...
Seriously... far east, mithran home land, home land of the gigas and orc's, wotg era tavnazia or present area tavnazia even seriously... actually i still do not understand why we can not access the actual city of tavnazia, in any case ima go find a brick wall to mash my head against for a few months.
Wow way to freak out over nothing. Just because it's not one of the areas you've been dying for doesn't mean that the expansion's not going to be good.
You look like a little kid tossing a fit because you didn't get exactly what you wanted.
I'm waiting for a fan-made spoof expansion called Seekers of Barance, which feature the new job, Developer.
Special ability: None. Because anything would be overpowered!
Anyone else notice that PS2 is suspiciously missing from supported systems on the official site for the expansion?
New HNM, massive Rocks and Trees.
Well... a new job is being added... for the love of god... actually fix the jobs that need it first /wrist
Geomancer with luopan a sch/pup hybrid... luopan = totums in wow for shawman, VW type aoe will eliminate em /sigh.
Geomancer gets Bells and Scholar never really got Tomes? F*%^ing rage quit.
Actually a bit worried about Geomancer now. Refresh, Regen, Regain, ATK/DEF up and enfeebles? They just really hate Red Mage, don't they? -ras I assume are Barstonra so I'm sure White Mage just loves that prospect. The other job, which I'm now stating as a fact is Mythic Knight, would be heavily based on Enspells as well I'd imagine. Again, they just really hate Red Mage, don't they?
LOL um yeah, ... bells. I'm holding off on any more insane excitement despite the fact that I've always wanted this job. As usual it will be all about the implementation. The concept of the Luopon, Polarities and direction/area system sounds interesting, but I'm not sure if I can run around the mob and the party with an umbrella on my head ringing bells.
Damn Kitkat you beat me too it but im going to repeat it because i want to.
Any yall notice on the official home page for the expantion that it does not list ps2 support?
hmm maybe.... do you guys think that this could be the boat from norg?
Norg & Tav are not bad ideas but SE has made a habit of not making expansions or addons require other expansions or addons (other than Abyssea), making this very unlikely.
I think some of the add on scenarios required CoP or RotZ.
Norg too far away from Adoulin.
Like Near east, we ll get selbina for west. Or Sandy, they got 2 quay in port and sandy got relationship with Adoulin.
Tavnazia is relatively easy to get to, so it wouldn't be annoying to go there each time you wanted to cross the ocean.
There's both tavnazian ring and a conveniently placed outpost warp there.
Right. I never did much voidwatch so I wouldn't know.
Its actually really nice honestly because for the VW warp I'm talking about you don't have to have done any VW or do any fights even ^_^ doing VW or not you should look into starting the quests if for nothing more than fast little warp arounds you get with just starting them.

When the PS Vita was announced, Tanaka said they could explore the possibility of a PS Vita version, but it turned out it wasn't really feasible.
