1263 days 6h on current character but i probably have well over 3k on all combined characters I have ever played........

160 days, 15 hours, 10 minutes

about 800 days logged, not much of that at the keyboard, really. i often used my ps2 to bazaar and my pc to play

Character 1: 1048 Days, 15 Hours, 49 Minutes, 51 Seconds
Character 2: 361 Days, 2 Hours, 46 Minutes, 12 Seconds

Majority of the time is afk, usually leave my character online while I go about my day.

I checked yesterday and I was at.. 21 days, I believe. I've only been playing since January 16th, though.
No bazaaring and minimal AFKing.

1895 days, 20 hours, 9 minutes and 16 seconds on main character

146 days with one char, no bazaaring and not much AFK in around 2 years.

256 days on mine. But, this is my fourth character. (I got tired of restarting and forced myself to stay one character.) So this is my longest lasting character. I did several things on my other three characters (Plus I levelled some on a mule after this character.) I probably have a combined 400+ days if I stayed on one character. I had very little afk time and no bazaaring time either.

It's funny cause I have been playing since the very beginning when the game was released in NA without changing characters or anything like that and I only logged 245 days. I don't set up bazaars tho so thats about 98% actual play time (or sitting more like 200 days of that looking for a party in jeuno lol)

A pretty substantial portion of it is idle time though. Not so much bazaaring as just being idle. Watching moogle spin, or waiting for a group to form for something, or whatever.

@ above poster: Game came out in the US in late 2003. You had to have been playing the japanese version in order to have played before that.

I started with the JP PS2 release as soon as I could track down an HDD provider. An American release was uncertain at that time because of lack of a HDD release outside Japan, and a lot of importers were coordinating to work together on GameFAQs and FFXIOnline.com's forums. I know the JP and NA release dates. I have a Japanese account, and use it on American and Japanese versions of the game, depending on my communication needs at the time. I can't read Japanese very well for missions, but when I need to type it, using the Japanese client I paid for is the only way to not risk a ban for using a modification to allow Japanese input in the English client.

What, you don't expect anyone to import or have some use of multiple languages?

My question is, how many of these hours was spent in {Bazaar}? I now use a mule for most of my bazaaring, but it has really affected my total play time.

218.5 days... no AFKing. I logout always. Had my character since Xbox 360 beta in early February 2006, but I've been playing it mostly off and sometimes on. Been on my longest stint right now at over a year subscribed straight.

262 1/2 days! in 3 years :o (well almost 3 years lol)

3 days, 9 hours, 24 minutes and 57 seconds on mule 1.
8 days, 23 hours, 28 minutes and 38 seconds on mule 2.
11 days, 12 hours, 57 minutes and 4 seconds on mule 3.
490 days, 6 hours, 13 minutes and 18 seconds on main.

Not too bad considering I almost never afk bazaar, never overnight afk, and have been playing since NA PC launch. >.>

Total time played is: 1255 days, 6 hours, 56 minutes and 58 seconds.

But that is with leaving it on overnight a lot :x

Not by a computer with FFXI installed on it, but last time I checked my total playtime was 6 days and a few hours.

592 days. about 100 days is bazaaring. used to do a lot of that before I got my mules. one mule 93 hours bazaaring.
