The Japanese would absolutely love this. Let me tell you.
Edit: Also, I'd hope before they'd let you do this they'd let you view Chocobo Digging Skill or at least stuff like Acc/Haste/STP/Eva.

I've never seen anyone do this. And if they did (without asking first) I'd probably kick them.Quote:
People xp for 30 mins then swap to a lowbie job saying only "brb dumping merits" before doing it.
You have control over stuff like this. You have a kick button, use it.
I've seen it, not only did they say brb dumping merits, they stashed themselves behind a corner and in a bush on a low level job, took me 40 mins to notice they were in zone but weren't doing anything before I booted them ><
I don't consider it harassment. Look how many shouting for pick-up groups do it with the caveat of "healers 70+, DD75+" and then still get bombarded by request to leech X, and when they say no they get flamed. That kind of thing started with level sync btw. Regardless, the person building has already decided what their minimum needs are and that apparently means they have enough leeches and now want bodies that will perform. All this will do is make it so you can't lie about your ability to perform.
Of course, this says nothing about being AFK 57/60 minutes to text/facebook/pound one out, etc. Having skill does not address the "jackass" factor, although having skills leveled does give some preliminary indication that a person is willing to do some work.
As I said tho' never happen. The lazy have an absolute need for you not to be able to see they are lazy before you invite them. The hope is that once you are in the field you won't kick them because of the pain in the butt factor of finding a replacement.
Choosing who you wish to group with in this game is as easy as a few mouse clicks. But you know that nobody actually uses the kick button. The EXP is just that important to them and they'd rather bend over backwards and loosen their standards...Quote:

...and then complain to their linkshell, complaining to each other in /tell, and complain to their favorite forums about how their party was oh so terrible. But kick somebody who isn't measuring up? Leave a party you're so dissatisfied with? Heavens no!
