You are going to be embarassed when the goal isn't met for the first vanabout

I returned a little over a month ago now and as a solo player this event has left me a bit deflated. First off, I didn't realise this event was only 2 weeks long, it didn't even dawn on me it would be since everything else seems to be around a month. Thats on me though.

So I started the event a bit late earlier this week and today, after doing a bit of math, I realise now that there is no point to me continuing with it. I'm currently sat on 380 points and right now the best I can manage is 80/100 from the dailys and that takes some decent time and effort. So that means that even if I keep that up, the best I can get is 730 points or there abouts (including the overall ones). I certainly won't hit 900.

That is just not worth the effort. The 300 point bronze rewards are...not much use. The 900 point silver though is a massive jump. 100 Deeds as a returner is a massive boost and the the pells are pretty useful as well. So any single choice from that feels good. Gold..well not hitting that anyway now.

But checking the moogle and the "Overall rewards" category and it's currently only offering 10k EXP? Don't know if that will change but it seems worthless.

10k exemplar points or 100 job points, neither is like exciting or anything but it does save a fair bit of time, particularly for jobs that are harder to get those things on.

I saw that too, but the way I read into it was that if you get that option, you can't access any other reward.

Well, at the bottom of the Vana'bout webpage, it says "Once the challenge period is over, you can select a reward based on the number of plaudits you earned by speaking to the Coordinator Moogle in the area listed below". I'm guessing it's those 2 we can't get ye but yeah, i'm guessing it's like the other rewards. 1 only.
