It's called challenging, not every monster is 'put on tank, watch it die.' Get a smn, it can kill it.

This mob is very poorly designed due to the fact I can not melee it since it is always flying. I ask you SE to make it so this NM Cuelebre lands from time to time to give melee a chance to kill it. Can attack/stagger it when it uses Mighty Strikes. You can also spam Cyclone on it regardless for trigger/discernment proc.

I can't climb this tree outside my house, could you please chop it down because I am unable to climb it, even though there are plenty of children that live near me that can climb it, I CAN NOT, so it would be best if, instead of me working out, or getting better at climbing trees, they just chopped the tree down instead. I know i should be able to climb it, because I climbed up onto my roof 2 months ago, and it had minimal to slight problems doing that but i still accomplished it (GOME!!!)

You know, part of me's wondered that if you kited down to one of the little tunnel valleys if melees higher up could actually land their strikes then. I've only fought it ranged style, though, for obvious reasons.

Culebre isn't malfunctioning. He just has special attributes that require a different strategy than other mobs.

No one said it was malfunctioning. OP is just sad her PLD can't kill something an afk smn can kill.

I've solod this NM on WHM with Banish and Holy while my LS farmed time, took me about 90 minutes.

My Bf myself and a friend did this. There is a little cliff by flux 3 that if you position him just right you can melee him. We did this as a thf drk and whm. Granted it took us a bit but we did it :). And we did Proc it :).

Just find a SMN with garuda's staff (they're a dime a dozen personally i'm a titan man) and get them to grab the a regen atma, atma of gales and MM and garuda can solo the whole fight in about 5-10mins. I did it for people out of boredom for about 1 week on my server to help people get the dagger. Again though be careful of the summoner you ask, they may have all the +2 but a summoning skill of 5 c.c;
