Cannot enter game after maintenance

Yeah I was suppose to run event today but there goes that out the window...my 6 ls members that managed to get on have a free day on game!

Same here, loggwed out 1 hour before maintenance started
tried logging in 15 min after maintenance ended, got update
but keep getting message
Cannot play during maintenance
hope SE will let us know something soon...

Finally able to click Play!!

perhaps they're prepping us for the level of service we can expect to see going forward; the lack of communication on this is really just a slap in the face. incoming "we're extending the login campaign ANOTHER two days, because we just can't get our shit together."

maybe they should extend more then the login campaign.

It's not based on account region or free or paying because I have a JP account on free trial and a paid for NA account. both can't login.

It's not region of account, it's region of game client. EU client can log in, with accounts from any region.

I have 2 accounts and I can log on and play on my xbox360 account, but cant log on with either account on my PC.

The JP account is not NA based client but EU?

Can't log-in either. POL has been stuck in the 'can't play during maintenance' screen for nearly 3 hours now.
People over at FFXIAH.com have been talking to some of their friends that CAN play and it seems the issue has to do with what area you logged out at before maintenance.
Some people also say it has to do with SE altering the Behemoth event, but that seems a bit farfetched to me.

Being logged in or out is not affecting it. I logged same time as some of the people before maint who were able to sign back on, but I cant get back on. Numerous other forum posts verifying it had nothing to do with when you logged.
