Is Adoulin worth buying now?

Your linkshell should be able to help you with an SKCNM 20 fight on difficult. You can use Trust in those, but clearing them without other human players may be very difficult.

Don't have one, ok thanks I'll give it a try later in the week.

Use reddit or something, I'm sure there are linkshells out there that help new or returning players.

Getting an LS, even a social one, should be a priority for you. It's the best way to have a group of people that know you and are willing to come help you (assuming you return the courtesy).
