Could Time Mage have worked in FFXI?

I can easily see Chemist working...would be slightly like nin with disposable items. Though, Time Mage would be kind of useful if they had a spell that lowered the recast of JA timers....perhaps a buff that lowered the recast by a certain percentage.

I would like to see Time Mage quite a bit. I'll bet its Mythic Weaponskill would be cool. The other mage jobs have interesting effects on mythic weaponskills. It could give addle, bind, gravity, stop, break, slow, silence, or mute as a couple examples.
