I question what you were doing in those 8 years, because it isn't an overly rare occurrence. You further exhibit your ignorance in your remark toward holding hate.
To be fair, who's going to highlight posts to look for signs of sarcasm? Not me.
oh really? If hate is being held properly you don't have mobs turning. If you don't have mobs turning, then you don't have this issue.Quote:

I know I'm coming in all tl;dr but...
How does one hold hate with a straight up zerg method? Once DD's reach the hate cap the mob will continue to turn to the last person who acted on it, no? The best thing would be to have everyone pile up on top of each other, like standing on a Wyrms feet so it's not turning. But then they all will be hit with cone attack. So by fanning out, you get mobs that turn during TP moves. Unless I'm missing something.
My god, what have I done?
Imagine a cast-iron skillet designed with sharpened edges and no handle. Imagine heating it for two hours while making an unimaginable amount of bacon cheese-burgers. Imagine holding that skillet properly.
The enmity system in Final Fantasy XI at level 99 is that cast-iron skillet. I am now too hungry to finish my metaphor, but I think I've made my point.
