Head equipment display toggle

Eh, it's a decent option and I appreciate it, but the /gearlock idea is still way better and allows players to completely customize their look in battle while also eliminating gear-swap blinks. Just wish someone would pass it on to the devs.

There were a lot of requests for a configuration based setting and we looked into this, but since this involved UI alteration we will only be adding the text command version.

By toggling your head gear display ON/OFF, the visual display will be reflected for both yourself and others who see your character. (There will be no visual changes for tunics and other similar gear that restrict you from equipping head armor.)

Isn't the development team already altering the UI? why would one more alteration be a problem?

Not that this isn't good news, but it reeks of cutting corners.

I'd like a text command to turn my name off from above my head, I know who I am, while keeping the names of everyone else on.

I'm unclear as to why they want to only freeze the head gear specifically. Are people having trouble seeing out of their Salades?

That command does exist. Type /names off and they will do so!

They want it so it only removes their characters name. /names off removes all.
