I hold hate just fine on top tier VW mobs. Proper gear sets are a must. For the more annoying ones Kaggen,Uptala,Pil you are going to want to buff your max HP a good chunk. For the easier mobs like Qilin and Akvan just ride 3rd eye and meds.

I don't think it's just DRK that proves it.

For the same reason DRK has Critical Attack Bonus yet has no Critical Hit Weapon Skills and the same reason DRG has Critical Defense Bonus but doesn't tank.

as a clarification for why most DRKs view Tactical Parry as a sick joke:

to add onto this, people just don't realize how boss last resort is now. Everyone knows about the update but they don't realize just how much total damage it adds. Especially for those of us who were already pushing the job to its limits. The only job that I can't hold hate off of is a equally geared/skilled ukon war in VW. Even then we bounce it back and forth.

Equally yes mdt(this especially for top tier VW mobs who LOVE to spam 1k+ dmg spells mostly ga), pdt, right seigan + eye and abuse your med and lvl 10 atmacites.

sorry but on my drk esp while soloing i parry alot.. maybe it ddont matter if your tanking a NM, but if your solo it kinda helps. I dont see why you need A+ skill in parrying to parry.... cuz um Ranger has 0 parry skills and i still parry IT mobs - NMS on RNG quite often as well more than on Dark Knight and Blu which Actually has the skill. AGI matters much more.

... You know there's a base floor for parrying of 5%, right...?

I solo what I can on DRK, and even in PvP, let explain one thing:

PARRYING DOESN'T HELP FOR SHIT.

Anywhere for anything worth mention.
