But the younglings, think about the younglings.

I thought they were merely separated as well. It's been a while since I did the quest, though, so I can't remember the dialogue any more so yeah... I shall look into it again some day, maybe, but I didn't think the child was actually dead, either. : S
Who cares. I'm tired of Americans being so soft. Every time I watch my favorite cartoons and villains say things like "I will destroy you!" or "Prepare to be destroyed!" or "I will send you to the afterlife", I cringe so hard.
We dun like yo kind 'round here. You best be goin' before somtin' baaaad happens.
Seriously though, pointless to call out a nation on stuff like this.
America is known for being one of the highest censored countries in terms of children's programming. The FCC regulations have become tyrants the last 20 years. In the 80's and 90's every gun in childrens cartoons fired lasers. Tanks, helicopters, hand guns. Watch G.I Joe. Nobody is ever maimed or hurt from explosions or shots. Shows like Rocko's Modern Life and Ren&Stimpy could never get FCC approval today. You can't say damn, crap, kill, die or hell on children's shows. Then look at TV shows from around the world including Japan where death and violence are normal. Then American parents want to turn around and say cartoons inspire violence whilst other countries have more violent programming and have overall less crime. Oh no, god forbid someone says hell or makes direct references to death. I remember when Gundam Wing came to NA back in 2001 and Duo's battle cry from the Japanese version "The God of Death is back from Hell!" was replaced with "The great destroyer is back again!" for the dub. If that's not cringe worthy, I don't know what is. Or when Vegeta is barraging the Cooler army he shouts "Eat shit and die!" in the Japanese version, expressing his frustration with how the clones keep regenerating. In the dub they replaced it with "Why won't you be destroyed?"
I'm gonna agree, America is heavily censored and heavily hypocritical. For example, the reason Elin of Tera is being censored is because it can fall under "Child Porn", yet I watched America's Funniest home videos where they have no problem showing naked toddlers and under ~5 kids which by law, falls under 'Child Porn' as well. (Even though by definition it doesn't, but America lops off an arm instead of a finger to kill an infection.)
Hmm...
There's a reason people generally mock American media, I mean early 90s in terms of Anime they even censored out cigarettes yet some of the most popular TV shows from the early era in America if I recall were shows like I love Lucy, which they had entire segments dedicated to smoking and that show was family oriented.
Then you have the whole "OMG I DONT WANT MY CHILD WATCHING FILTH LIKE NAKED WOMEN BLAH BLAH BLAH!" yet you publicize useless women like Kim Kardashian :|
America is so confusing. Though anime dubbing in general is pretty bad, it's more they lack understanding and context for most studios, but Funimation actually got better at it when I compare original vs dub. I honestly think the heavy censorship in America is because, and no offense, they don't know the difference between many subject matters these days, like the whole 'Child Porn' hunt in Europe and America, they consider Nudity of any kind to be Pornography. Think of what would happen if that would have been banned in Italy during the Renaissance era.
Putting children in harmful, cruel, or anything westerners fine obscene has always been an issue with video games. For the longest time I kept wondering where the hell were the children, as well as cats and dogs, in Liberty City when playing GTAIV.
It's not sadism putting a child in a very real situation that exist for children today.

They should have shown the kid being eaten by an Orc.
An Immodest Proposal by Bloodcrown Brradhod
"I think we should eat any children we find in Tavnazia. I suggest this because children taste good."
And yes, the title is italicized because it was published separately in spite of being a very short work. He focused more on wearing a huge and goofy crown than written composition, in fact, so it is his only work.
