Inflation happened fast and quickly the first time around because not only were the fish bots npc'ing caps, but really the only thing people were spending gil on that took the gil out of the system was dynamis. Everything else just circulated.

Unfortunately, things like dynamis/limbus/etc. no longer really applies, so even without the bots inflation this was bound to happen anyway.


As for ffxiv, they tried to fix it via the repair dudes, but like typical SE, it took them forever to try and get that right, and the damage is already done.

They need to put something in the game that is expensive that helps to take money out of the system, then they can change the price once gil levels out.

And talkn as if a lack of evdiance is your evdiance.. Perhapse on your server it isnt as bad.. on asura are 20-30 bots at any given time.

As if rabo was flooded over night.. it took from the release of rotz till after the MPK nerf before it was even an issue. that is almost 2 years.. So if only 9 mos so far.. You figure it out for your self.. I'm done explaining a simple concept to you.

edit: i have fished them but they are a waste of time for a non bot player. I get 30k a pop for gugrus.. much better $ fish for me.

Ok 9 months there's 15, in 18 months there will be 30?. That still wouldn't be anything close to what you described at rabao.

Again.. just because the ammount of bots of your server is less then others. I hardly see how you think you can blow it off as a non issue.. If this isnt effecting you then why are you still talking? Perhapse you are one of the bots and the last thing you want is anything to be done about this... Otherwise why would what I have to say bother you so bad?

It should bother any real non bot player that cheaters are geting rewarded for cheating. If you dont have a problem with that.. You should have your head checked. Unless you enjoy geting screwed over...

And my bazarr mule is limited to 30 spaces so any given night I'm sleeping only 30 fish from me can be traded.. I still get tells of "thx I got it" but not as often as when I had a mule with 80 spaces.

Not to mention I will not fish Liks for anyone. So its w/e really. They were gonna get the rod with or with out me.. I might as well make some $ while I can.

30 bots is not shoulder to shoulder in rabao pond. This is once again, not like the padded caps.

Besides that though, since you're ignoring the fact that you have to actually get ebisu to do this, remember that you have to have bait, and it isn't unlimited.

Could someone please explain to me what will theoretically happen when inflation occurs? I don't think I've been around for a recent occurrence so I'm not sure how it affects the in game market. If someone could explain I would appreciate it.

It means haubergeon will cost 20m and dyna currency will go up to 30k per single.

The price of everything will go up. food ammo meds as well as high end gear that can be bought
