This is so true! I shudder every time i have a cut scene where i have to talk to him! I totally forgot about it until i started another character and was doing the nation missions again in Bastok. I think my mind was trying to protect me from the horror of his teeth and half-nakedness. And is it just me or does he walk kinda funny too?

Yes, this is proof that Cid is not altogether human. He is literally an empty shell of a being, or some beast masquerading as Cid. What sinister plot has this power-mad thing in store for Vana'diel?

Maybe it's level 99 content. The final boss of the game is just a giant version of Cid's face.

This is like one of the best suggestions on this forum to date. Every other thread is about how FFXI is too hard or too expensive or whatever else you can cry a river about, which are more of a waste of time to even read, nevermind to consider.
