Evoker's Ring upgrade, Quests included. BONUS ITEMS!

Being able to augment the ring would be a real treat, Like you said seeing how you play summoner different from how I play it having the ability to give the ring a different augment gives it a flexibility that you don't get Like when you augment any of the god armor or purchase the armor from abyessea that has the random augments. I also agree that this is a long time comming seeing how most other jobs have more job specific armor and gear for them yet when it comes to summoner they have little to none that is just for that, I mean we just got another ring but instead of being like a mini evokers and covering all avatars its specific for Ifrit which little to no smn uses, gifted earring was nice that it did cover all mages, but most of the new gear is more non smn friendly, I'm trully waiting to see if they do a set of gear that makes smn what it should be, which is a damage dealing and when it calls for it support and healing for when the man healer is out of mp.

I actually like the Idea of a quested Callers ring. Lets hope this very good idea gets reconsidered.

I would be much happier if they just added a ring with Avatar: Attack/MAB stats on it. The lol+1 on Fervor Ring doesn't cut it. As much as more summoning skill would be fun, I'm already 104 over cap. Perpetuation can be easily overkilled as well, even taking into account the +1 or +2 cost to Avatars from 91 to 99.

Wouldn't be too far fetched an Idea, As Refresh on a ring was available at level 50 (During assaults...)

However, I remember a while back they said there was a 4 category limit on Items (I.E 1 cat is STR/DEX/etc, another is acc/atk/eva/etc, another is Enhances "xxx" effects/etc and so on). so MP+50 (1) Smn magic Skill+15(2) Avatar Perp-2 (This might fall under 2), and a augment (3), we'd have room for one more assuming Smn magic and Avatar perp are in the same category (they might not be).

However, a bonus, at level 91 (Callers) It could change from Perp-2 to "Refresh"(+2) effect? I think that might be a little overpowered though. So i doubt it would come to that.

However, Refresh could be added to the list of augments...

Your idea works, but knowing Square Enix, it won't happen because why give the people what they want?

Its just ripe for plucking... Evoker's ring is a static ring for a SMN, And while its aged well, an upgrade would be lovely, especially to fit the 99 cap.

Hopefully they go down the "Augment" road for final step. But i really don't care how they handle it. I'll do any amount of "tough quest" to upgrade it.

The Carbuncle Prime path makes sense too.
