It's just you. Gil is easier to get than it's been in several years, and one of the major gil sinks in the game (Dynamis) was partially eliminated in the last major update.

It doesn't take a whole lot of effort to one-shot clusters of abyssea mobs with it. You just need the right atmas.

I never used FFXIAH because that site sucks for anything short of an external AH checker. But thanks for the link anyway.

FFXIAH has the best search engine of the FFXI community sites (which hits item descriptions), and provides links to information sources. It's very well run.
