Suggestions: Quality of Life Stuff and other suggestions

It doesn't fix anything. It just makes a new npc for a thousand people to afk next to. Why ADD something, when you can FIX something. Instead of adding another NPC, how about acknowledging why it's a problem, and addressing it like a company should.

I know. A radical, crazy idea, to FIX A PROBLEM BY FIXING IT.

But why would people AFK there? Once you know there the dragon is, you leave and go to the dragon. It's not like people are waiting for a certain spawn or anything.

Also, the unity chat thing is only a major problem on exactly one server.

All the people being on that one server is a problem they need to fix, too

People wanted this way, they paid to goto that server. Some peopel want a busy server, some people want a quiet server with friends.

What you call a "fix" others would call forcing people away from what they want.

Why are you on Asura?

Asura is a prison, I don't chose to be here, I'm there because I don't have a choice. Could I bail myself out of said prison? Sure. I would have to come back, there is no choice.

Rather not give square endless amounts of money to come and go.

Regardless, Asura does not exist to pleasure you alone. Most people on the server like it how it is.

Most isn't good enough. if those people are happy. They're happy. Give the people who aren't a non-monetary solution.

If you pay the transfer, you get a free month sub. Simple and easy. They still get money, just not free money they don't deserve.

As I've written in the past, SE should be offering free transfers from high pop servers to low pop servers. i.e. the top three to any of the others.

I agree, although I don't think just free transfers would be enough. Even if you can leave at no charge, what's the incentive? Clearly some people enjoy a packed server and wouldn't leave without some major changes to the game like, for example, linked AHs or cross-server party finder. Especially considering they could very well lose their name in the process.

They can't add these things to FFXI, it's impossible.

They won't give free transfers because most of the people on Asura paid to go there, they want to be there. They don't want to be on your server at all.

Nobody playing FFXI is unable to pay $5 for a server transfer, being free is irrelevant. If they wanted to come to your server, they would be there. If anything free transfers would just lead to auction house harvesting to a greater degree.

Trying to force people off a busy server so you get more on yours is against their wishes and would probably lead to people quitting.

If you want a busier server than Levi that is still fairly small, Bahamut is there for you. Entire shells have been transferring there for this reason over the past year.
