It's already been mentioned in this thread, but we will be adding these two loveable automatons to the Trust system in the April version update, as announced during Freshly Picked Vana'diel 5.

While I will admit I am very much in favor of and happy with the idea to let certain Trusts boost other Trusts, I must say I still feel like using her and her Automatons as the method of bringing it up was a poor choice as it basically cuts out a part of her job. That being said, it opens doors for more interesting ideas, for instance I could see Prishe & Ulmia together giving Ulmia an extra song while Prishe could get an Attack boost for instance. Though I'm not sure how exactly you plan to use this kind of power, Prishe & Ulmia would only be 2 NPCs rather than 3 and with Nashmira you are restricted to a very rigid setup of 3 specific NPCs so I could understand if you kept this kind of bonus to just that kind of structure.

Well, If i read it right, You don't need all 3 up. They just each provide a different boost. I.E having just Nashmira and Ov out would still give them both the bonuses they offer.

I finally took the plunge and obtained my first Trusts this week. I got Lehko Habhoka, Cherukiki and Nashmeira.

I've been reluctant to start getting Trust NPC's, because I have battled alongside the same NPC for seven years or something, my handsome Galka Dzapiwa. I felt it was wrong to see other NPCs behind his back.

But anyway, I think Nashmeira's battle movements are brilliant, her hand movements are worth my FFXI subs alone. Lehko Habhoka also looks really cool when he does his backflips etc.

Best thing about Trust for me is the Cherukiki CS when you get nuked and robbed by your new friend, lol. Whoever wrote the actual words in that CS is a genius, the writing was really sharp and made me ROFL too.

I can haz Shikaree Z now please?

Omg...yes!! I loved that CS. Did you notice when she mentioned Mumor? I wonder if that's a slight hint that'll we'll be seeing Mumor soon as a trust npc.

Ugh I have no idea what is going on with trust/fellow dynamic but it sorely needs to be addressed. Just had my fella out and ALL THE MOB DID WAS ATTACK HIM AND ONLY HIM until he died. Healed him all crazy, didn't even matter they just wouldn't leave him alone until he was dead. No, he did not provoke and ayame and naja were weaponskilling but to no avail...and Joachim didn't help me heal either. Sooooo stupid
Ok I'll admit he was hitting harder than the trusts (~80 to their ~50 hehe) but still, he only got 3 hits in before the dhalmel started trying to do him in, and usually as soon as I heal the trusts it turns right around, definitely if I heal them twice, but not mah poor fella nope. And that's not the 1st time either, the other time (with another character and another fellow) the mobs mainly kept trying to do her in as well with noooo help from the trusts. All this talk about updating them, when they do will they address this as well?

What was the Mumor reference in the Cherukiki scene? I seem to have missed it.

The development team would like to make adjustments to bard-type Trust alter egos, specifically Ulmia, so that they select songs a bit more efficiently. However, as it is quite complex to have these alter egos decide on songs for different situations, this is something that will take a bit of time.

One way to have them do it that should be simple enough would be to have Double Marches as the default when monsters are 2 or more levels under the level of your/their target. If the target is between 1 under and 2 above, 1 Madrigal and 1 March, when over 3 levels above, double Madrigals. It wouldn't be perfect but it would be a great short term solution that would help at least.

I don't know who is telling you otherwise, but Ulmia is one of the best Trust NPCs available at this time. Please do not change her behavior! Instead, take a look at her current design and use it to improve others. Trust NPCs should be unique and provide specific things for specific situations. Ulmia giving me Double Marches while Cher gives me Haste is awesome when I'm soloing.

I agree, I like Ulmia, although I wish she would default to the greatest need for the whole party, then pianissimo the lesser. i.e. when I'm using 3 mages and my summoner in a reive, believe it or not Ballad x2 is ALOT more helpful than March x2, all that does is let my mages stop doing ANYTHING faster. but I would like her to do some damage as well, and debuff (seriously, is it THAT hard to think a brd/whm might finale, dia and even silence a target? I mean I do it on my bard all the time).

Perhaps one day when they can be used in a party I will try these Trust things!

Would it be possible to see the Aht Urhgan Warp Tarus added as Trust NPCs? I think most of the players that were around for ToAU will remember Shihu-Danhu and Kaduru-Haiduru. They could be black mages or just Trusts NPCs that cast warp on the PC when summoned.


I think a lot of players will remember protecting Shihu-Danhu the free warp taru instead of the Generals... at least I did >_>;

I love the Trust system and have really enjoyed collecting all the Trust NPCs available so far, sometimes forcing me to do some classic content I didn't get around to in the past. I'm definitely bummed about the new requirements for Maat though... Finish "Shattering Stars" on 6 jobs?! I'm a career PLD and have made it through the entire game so far with it as my only 75+. >< Not too sure if/when I'll be able to get around to leveling up more jobs...

This is her problem, she's using the wrong songs for the wrong jobs. When I'm on DD with BRD BRD WHM as my support, I want to get march x2 and then whatever, but instead they seem to get stuck in "support" mode where they put on ballad x 2 paeon x 2. The ballad's aren't that bad since my WHM gets them, but the paeons' are stupid. Yet she's putting march's on your SMN because your not taking damage.

The best way would be to separate the two BRD's and give each a focus area. Jochim sing March x 2 then have Ulmia sing ballad's x 2, that way your always covered no matter what.

why doesn't the COR trust use any rolls? Can it just use two rolls? (no double up folding etc?) I'm sure it shouldn't be hard to make them use rolls like the bards use their songs

Ok they said they fixed it so that trusts don't use aoe yet that's exactly what Lehko did (and got him AND Joachim killed). Is it fixed yet or do we have to wait until August possibly September for it?

Will you guys at least do what you said and fix it so they stop doing aoe? I understand (kinda) that you don't want us to command them to do specific stuff but at least until you make up your mind about what you will let us do just cancel the aoe attacks please?

Well another option to the fix would be doing what they did for adventure fellows and giving you the option to turn off or on woe weapon skill attacks for trusts. Otherwise you would have make sure any mob your fighting is in area or pulled to an area thats not gonna get aoe attacks on other mobs near by.

How about some Cardians that became legendary in the present from the WoTG past times timeline while following a certain npc around from the campaign battles maybe a few of those as well. <{?_?}>

Oh yeah! Especially after watching this ToAU Cut Scene! This was the King of Hearts, but I think I'd like to have Joker at my side.

I am unsatisfied with my Lilisette trust. Rousing Samba appears to be doing nothing, and Sensual Dance only gives a buff about half the time. Oh and on top of all that, what should be the best dancer trust doesn't use any dancer job abilities. It just seems crazy to me that in an update where dancer gets buffed they release a dancer that doesn't take advantage of any one of those buffs.

also to increase potency of Trust NPC WS , ACC , Power , Effect of Buffs as well as Duration at lvl 99

I see them being Nerf at lower lvl , but considering most players are fully 119 ! having NPC being THAT Weak (I.e. Maat BEST WS does 200 DMG -.- ) it is an insult and a shame for us all (Players) as well for NPC itself (Most of them are useless as they are right now..........)

Having them being a lil stronger / more efficient , would also benefit Square Enix, Attracting more ppl to do missions and WANTING to get ALL NPC 54/54 !!!!! :D

After update in 5 days there be 2~4 new npc too (Which I am 100% Excited to get them) Hopefully they dont BLOW :X

We received some information regarding Alter Egos and their weapon skills that I would like to share with you.

Alter Egos have a level set for when they learn weapon skills.

The level set for when the Alter Ego learned their first weapon skill varies. They will not use weapon skills until they have reached the level to learn the weapon skill. Therefore, depending on the level there will be times where one Alter Ego will use a weapon skill, while another Alter Ego may not use that weapon skill even if they’re both at the same level.
