Regarding Tavnazia, this could be some type of continuation of the San D'Oria mission arc revolving around Lightbringer. Perhaps an expansion pack that extends all current storylines. RotZ and CoP tie to each other at the end, and Tenzen/Phoenix go back to the east. Could continue from there and merge the RotZ/CoP/ToAU stories here and add more nation missions back on the mainland.

Let me expand on that a bit first. Tie all of the nation mission arcs plus WotG into a story revolving around Tavnazia. All of the nation arcs revolve around the war and it's aftermath as it is.

This isnt an idea but a question. I have noticed in my world travels that several zones have tunnels that lead to nowhere. Suppose they were ment to for future expansion packs?

Mostly landscape animators drawing themselves into corners.
And it's mirror walls in a resteraunt. It makes it feel bigger.

Could have been there for something, but then scrapped the idea after making the holes. Could still be finding ideas for these holes, but who knows. SE likes us guessing and telling us, "It's a secret. Not gonna tell you."

The idea I has was more along the lines of maybe 100 years later or so. Just enough to have places like Machine factory dungeons quite similar to FFVI ,but not so far into the future that they have space ships and stuff.

Another idea I had with that is some of the main nations in the future like Bastok etc... could be in ruins and maybe controlled by beastmen or something.You could visit them and kill the monsters etc.. ,but then again that would be like Dynamis or Campaign in towns minus the ruins.

One of the areas I mentioned was actually originally my town idea for the North lands out in or just pass Uleguerand Range. (Snow covered town idea).

Another couple things the server needs are some ice and crystal caves.
Also some gem dragons and other monsters. this would be cool. Seeing Some Ruby Dragons or Diaomond trolls or something. Maybe they could inhabit the Ice and crystal caves. Now by these I dont mean monsters with just names like that like Ruby Quadav and such. I mean make them actually look like gems. Like you see a ruby quaduv and it actually looks like it is made of ruby.

Now on the other hand I know there are a few minor ice caves within the north but nothing as much as what my previous post meant. Total ice and crystal caverns. like bluish ice covered walls and floors mixed with a little snow alot like the one in FFIX but alot bigger. Same for the crystal caverns but then you would also see giant crystals about. Firgured I better clarify that before someone else decides to be a jerk.

Auredant do you know how to read ? If so then knock off your damn complaining and read the English on it otherwise stfu. Honesty if you can not read that then you seriously have some major reading disabilities and need to go back to school because the words on there ARE ENGLISH ! This goes to all the people who have been making fun of my posts unfortunately I've ran out of niceness and now it is over. So live with it or shut up. Or find something to do with your life instead of complaining to every post made by everyone. You would rather knock someone down over typing when what you are doing is FAR worst.

since most expansion packs seem to be making good use of old zones nobody used, or is using at the moment, for anything but the 'here and there' section, a new mini-expansion using the areas lufaise, ifrits cauldron, and den of rancor would be nice.

or rather, making them usable in themselves for people who have already finished ZM's. I havent been to Ifrits cauldron since i levelled bst... i havent had any reason to go there, other than helping some folk with a staff ws

I can read just fine. And compose sentences which I'm happy to see you've finally learned to do. English also has things called periods and paragraphs. And I never correct people on minor grammatical errors, hell i make them as well. But a run-on sentence that goes on and on and on causes the reader to lose interest and, frankly, is painful on the eyes. Just a little advice, if you want your ideas to be taken more seriously then write them so it doesn't seem like a 7 year old did. But judging by your reaction when you receive the slightest criticism, you can't be far from 7 years old.

It was not cool to come in here to a place that is meant to be a fun experience,then share my idea with SE and the FFXI forum/community only to instantly have my thread / typing mocked right away without so much as a word of wow that is a cool idea or anything. Instead it was just this guy cant type a paragraph but wow I myself cant type one sentence,and wow the grammar.

The fact that multiple people commented on it should tell you something. That being said I love some of the ideas introduced in the thread. I don't particularly care for the futuristic ones because i prefer the fantasy setting but your ideas aren't invalid. They show a creative mind. Learn to not be so thin skinned and take constructive criticism. You'll be better for it.

I already knew how to do those ahole.Like I said in a previous post I did that on purpose. Honestly how do you read books then ? How can you read a huge story that goes on and on for 200-600 ish pages ? That first post was actually quite short compared to a lot of other posts I've seen. I am not 7. Seven year olds cant type much. It was alot more then slight criticism when it still keeps continuing on here. I let it go until it kept going and going until I have finally had enough. You would have done the same if you was in the same shoes.

Guys stop... This is a FF forum.. not a place to bash people.. sure, it was a little hard to read, but its no reason to make fun of him. He got his point across perfectly like anyone else, and I thought his idea sounded pretty good. Looks to me like he put a lot of thought in it.

While he is being a bit inflammatory, I think you're missing the point. Paragraphs, spacing between thoughts, non-run-on sentences are all parts of 200-600 page books as are they parts of conveying ideas on a thread. Regardless of how he is presenting his dislike for the state of your original post, he is right that you need to space things out and use more punctuation. It will make more people actually read what you have to say, this truth is absolute.

If he wanted anyones opinion on his grammer, he wouldnt be at the FFXI Official Forums now would he? please stop

I know other people came in here to say some cool stuff the other post was meant for the ones who replied first who instantly criticized without so much as a compliment on anything. Then it continued throughout the thread up to this point now and Now ive had enough of it. Time to stand up for myself whether you like it or not.

When ya call people aholes for the slightest criticism, it kind of proves ur immaturity. And wth is the point of a long run on sentence that goes on forever, if u did it on purpose. To turn ppl off? Ifu did it on purpose, as u say, then u deserve all the criticism u got. I would call, questioning some one's age and then wondering if they were seven years of age, to be inflammatory. Though, I don't care enough to scroll back through the pages and re-read things to see who actually started it. Inflammatory is inflammatory.

Im not mothering anyone. I come on the forum and the second post was someone making fun of him. Followed by others. Maybe you jumped in after others pissed him off. Maybe he made a se account just to state his ideas? And he just gets shut down... did you see how many posts he had? I feel bad for the guy, gets all that criticism, all he wanted was some feedback on his ideas

It started as advice...but i questioned his age because he immediately got defensive and preceded to insult and curse me, which is something an adult or mature person should not do. Even then I could have responded the same way but instead chose the high road and even gave him a compliment.Not that it mattered because he just preceded to insult me again. And then, incredulously, two posters jump to his defense. Whatever. All that does is enable people to believe it's alright to curse out others in forum. No skin off my nose though.

Is this an evasive way of deflecting the "you were inflammatory" bullet? Doesn't matter I suppose. The part that bothers me is that you said two people came to his defense. Being as there's only been 4 total posters since then (you, me, kits, and ryat) I assume that second person to be me. Did you miss the part where I also tried to tell him that he could've used paragraphs and non run-on sentences? I guess you can think what you want but I am in no way bias about who I defend or support. It just happened in this case that you were both wrong. (If we want to talk adult behavior: adults don't try to guess some one else's age based on a post on the internet, especially while trying to be constructive).

I have been enjoying this thread for the most part. A lot of good ideas and thoughts have been coming out. I would hate to see this thread shut down because tempers got too hot.

I love the ideas on exploring those areas of the map we can't get to currently. There is still a LOT of the current world that can be explored/expanded...
