Buy a PC, and use the PS2 as a coaster. It's a far better use of the antiquated game console.

Considering that I play FFXI on my PS3 (original 60g for the win!), I would be really miffed if it suddenly exploded. Also, US players aren't the only people playing FFXI, you know. There's still alot of people in Japan still playing on the PS2. Why do you think it's still supported to this day? Sure as hell ain't because of Bob in Kentucky! Too many people like to 'not remember' that FFXI was originally made for the PS2. It was on the PC in the US first because it was easier to release here that way, that's all. Don't want your PC game 'crippled'? Go cry a river, build a bridge and get over it.

Well I'm starting to think dropping PS2 support is never going to happen because a friend of mine believes it would cost way more than what they would make from it.
