From farther away all the names look completely blurry..
I hated the font on FFXIV for this very reason and they are using the same one now on XI :( I don't really like this new font, I'll hope someone makes a way to put it back soon.Quote:

Character models weren't anything to die over but the monster models were fantastic. I use the term were since I only played in beta but I hear the models have under gone changes or something...
The crab models are what really impressed me. It makes me sad that so much new life could be given to this game if they just sucked it up and did the work like so many other old MMOs(and with far less subscribers) even if it would be for PC only... I suspect they will never even consider it. Plus side of things, like 10+ years later after the FFXI project was started it still looks pretty damn swell for it's age if you overlook the pet peeve stuff.
I'd pay money for even just a player character graphical improvement pack if it looked good enough...
I understand the desire to keep it so that the PS2 players don't get left behind, but it would be nice if PC and 360 players could get a "higher poly models" options with some more animated .dats options.
And for god's sakes, let us get more than 30 fps. I know the argument is that they don't want to be have there be a large gap between the versions but really, no one playing on the PS2 would really argue that they are getting an equal playing experience anyways.
hey guys the old one isn't bad; I don't know why they change it; it give a fresher look but I hope they don't change things like that very often :)
Ah yes~ This update marks the first steps into leaving the ps2 behind in graphics ^.^ hope to see more in the future~
