Put Tetra Master In FFXI - Drop PlayOnline

No one plays Tetra Master, but it does not mean that people do not like the idea. They simply want it to be part of the game not a separate game altogether. Then SE could advertise that they offer Tetra Master again as well, and they could even build a town around it for a new expansion.

Playonline would be more acceptable if i could start the game directly from the very first screen after logging in, skipping every other message and confirmation between logging in and selecting my character.

This is a quality of life change... and unfortunately, (based on all observed threads) SE cannot afford things that enhance customer experience, since all their resources are dedicated to making HNM's into "???" and Abyssea v2.

Gee, the bitterness in that post sticks out like a sore thumb.

30 mintue battles are not "abyssea v2." They're just BCNMs with abyssea-like properties (and no grinding for pops or time extensions, it looks like). And ??? pop HNMs are a smart thing that should have been done years ago.

You're right that they can't afford to remove playonline- The code for both the game and POL is heavily intertwined. Major changes would need to be made behind the scenes. Remember th at they can only work as hard as their profit margin allows, which means with a smaller population and a smaller team, they can only put in so many man hours.

TT was black gunblade before mission 1, blue gunblade before the end of disc one, and best magic by the end of disc one. I don't know if anyone completly understood the mechanics behind Tetra Master.

I was shooting for subtle, i'll have to work on my approach.

Anyway, my point was more directed at the apparent lack of love for anything that improves quality of life. I'm not leaving references for this.. just take a look over the "Jobs" sections, countless suggestions there with not even a peep from the devs. I'm not sure they even look at that section, lol.

It'd be fun for there to be a card game in FF11. I don't understand why they never put it in. Tetra Master would have been perfect if you could play it in FF11. Failure on SE's part trying to make it basically a stand-alone game. Although, I would have played had it been a free game in addition to my FF11 subscription.

I would have loved to be able to play Triple Triad from within the game. It would be excellent while waiting for people who promised to be on time for the next event, but for some reason, isn't. Again.

I don't wanna have to worry about botters or cheaters! I don't want to have to compete with other players to play!

If i can play VS. myself, that'd be awesome.
