If not, I will add though, if you use a chocobo (Noble Chocobo, and or the one you raise yourself) the music will fade away into the zone music. (I think after about 5 minutes?)
If you're using anything other than a chocobo, the music is persistent.
There is also the option to /mutebgm in game if you're using a mount that is not a chocobo.
How, after so many years, has this still not been officially added? I mean, c'mon on SE. It's like they want us to use 3rd party programs. I'm not able to use them due to a conflict with my stereoscopic 3D program, so this small change would make the game considerably more enjoyable, given how much time is spent on a mount.
The Chocobo song is definitely way better--especially given it fades out--but what's the point of having all these cool mounts if you're restricted to a few because of this? Just add the freaking change already. Everyone has heard this garbage excuse for a song loop long enough.
