WHM/MNK (this is not a troll)

A few refresh pieces and an Ethereal Earring more than makes up for the loss of MM on certain NMs and using both means less damage intake because of a higher counter rate. You definitely don't want to give up RR though.

Per DG Atma, one of 2 things is true about avatars:

1) They always got their natural 50% damage reduction from auto-guard. The atma accidentally pushed avatars to 100% pdt.
2) They were considered to have less than 50% hp for this atma only. SE decided not to fix this error during a nerf.

The simplest explanation, in absence of a more accurate explanation, is generally accepted as the correct one.

I just unlocked AoRL and AoDG yesterday and haven't had much time to play (test it out) with it.

I'm thinking for NIN/mnk or MNK/xxx: AoRL AoRR & AoGH

it's 2) you can see this by reduced movement speed.

Also u can't guard magic and the atma reduces the magic DMG the avatar takes not to mention u can't guard backwards.

Was your accuracy capped? You can miss counters, and the mob will hit you if you do.
