F8 Functionality Change

Please change F8 back to targeting nearest mob. Targeting of trusts can already be done with F2 - F6.

I agree that this didn't need a "fix." F8 was functional as it was.

Oh, so it wasn't just me imagining things? I noticed F8 targeting trusts and it was very odd, but wasn't sure it had been changed.

In that case I agree it should be changed back, because having to F1 and then moving the camera around so I can tab-target the right mob is unnecessarily complicated. Just facing the mob and pressing F8 would be so much simpler.

In either case, it should be fixed to the same manner as /targetbnpc, which targets nearest mobs only

This "fix" needs to be fixed back to the way it was for FOURTEEN YEARS since the game was released originally. I just want to target the closest NPC/Mob, and I've been using F8 for years to do that, and suddenly, they changed it for no good reason. Please fix it back.

They'll revert it back when they revert bst back.

Yeah please revert F8 T.T. It makes stunning the naakual's in SR very difficult and it also makes it very frustrating to deal with any of the fights in escha where adds are spawned.

Come on SE, stop screwing up the game and changing things that have been established over 12+ years. BST rang change, F8 change, both totally unnecessary. Is this a new trend?

REVERT ASAP

I predict the next fix is that we'll be unable to change gear while engaged or if we have enmity.

Which ironically is the standard in most other MMOs, however those games are all designed with that in mind. in FFXI, it would totally wreck the game lol :p
