Forgotten Pleas to Fall on No-longer Deaf Ears

That all goes back to the fact that people take the path of least resistance every time. If you impose restrictions on a player then they'll deal with it, if you don't but let them have the chance to do it on their own, they won't use it and instead will opt for the easiest path possible. Yes, it's hypocritical in every way, but it's simply how people are. One example of it is saying that Abyssea wasn't easy without Atma/Cruor buffs, which is true, but it doesn't mean that people went out of their way to make Abyssea harder that way, they'd rather complain it's easy while intentionally using Atma/Cruor buffs at the same time even though it's going against everything that complain about.

Pretty much. SE either needs to buff jobs that are underpowered (we all know what they are) or put more gimmicks in that increase job variety. People got sick of procs, sure, but I'm more sick of never getting to play my favourite jobs in current content because people want MNK MNK MNK SCH BRD WHM only - or w/e the flavour of the month is.
