Good question, i had impression it was 8% but apparently is more like 23%, doubt SE ever give any answer on this question since is more money maker to just blame everything on PS2 and recycle old content.

Is pretty smart.... for how long this will last, i guess until everyone get totally tire of XI, plus i have a feeling SE i gambling with 14 instead loosing more time into 11. Bad/Good news is how they plan stop supporting PS2 for 2013, 2 yr to me sound kinda far and XI have plenty of time to die by then, or be so unpopular at this point, even dropping PS2 wont change much.

SE cares. They aren't going to kill off a large portion of their remaining FFXI subs just to give remaining people a better game. No business wants to make less money and reduce their profits.

How is this a suggestion if you don't offer any suggestions to fixing the problem? You asked a question.

It wasn't a suggestion, it was an idea in the form of a question.

Solution is simple =/

#1) Accept they won't do anything till 2013 (End of world is Dec. 2012, so i guess it never gonna happen =/)
#2) Play another game that not support console =/
#3) Buy used PS2 and feel special too =/
