To be honest, there's not much reason why the 'source' worlds should be locked. It's preventing this guy + the guy in the other thread from creating characters. People were abusing the character creation on the 'destination' worlds only. Those should still stay locked. However, the 'source' worlds should be unlocked, due to the version update postponement.

I'd love a Dev's confirmation on this. Even if it's just removing the 90 day limit on paid transfers so I can pay. My friend who activated at the start of March now can't play indefinitely and there's no way she's going to wait around until May or beyond for me. I have a linkshell on my server (which I have been on since before the US launch) so I'm not keen on moving to her on one of the unaffected servers. If it's done via paid transfer rules being relaxed, there isn't going to be much deliberate mischief since the cost is quite high.
Unblocking the source servers would be a compromise. Not a great compromise, but at least then she could get started and I could help until we can move to my usual server. -

Heres a question ive been wondering.. Back in I think it was 2009 when that world merger hit one day im on SERAPH the next day my characters are on BISMARCK .. though not complaining, but do we have a choice on which remaining world we want our characters to go to or is that made for us no matter the outcome?
