Upon the re-evaluation on the 22nd they will either re-open the serves or extend the down time. We'll just have to wait and see.

Well if there power holds up as it has last few days and there ISP is stable theres no reason why servers won't be back up tomorrow

UmmHmm.. They said they would give a status update on the 22nd JST. From the main SE page, you will be able to see the server status. It continues to show "Partial Maintenance" which I believe means they never shut them off completely, so no Boot-up required. Probably similar to "hibernation/standby mode on a PC. Conserves power, but ready to get back to full power rapidly.

Not your fault, I opened the thread, then closed it, then realized I should've done so, came back and you had posted.

If only. It'll likely be april before the servers go back up. And you won't be getting an exact date until probably a few days before.

I wish they guaranteed us that servers would be up again on the 22nd but too bad it'll just be another update to keep us all posted as the others mentioned here. Prepare for them to say that FFXI will be down for at least another week and that's when they may update us again.

So, their re-evaluation could be, restoration to full operation at <..> time.
I'm not holdong my breath tho. I think the best we can hope for is a tentative date/time of resumption of service.
