Windows 8 (64-bit) and FFXI - Do They Work Well Together?

size of footprint is irrelevant to me. There's no reason to upgrade to windows 8 unless you like the new tiled start screen / hate aero.

I'm not really a big fan of aero but it's at least aesthetically presentable. Win 8's theme looks worse than windows 3.11.

the vista/7 one should work- but you'll only need that to use the original install discs for XI- if you're using the most recent collection installers, you don't need the updated POL installer.

Sorry showing my age, It used to be used on all the car commercials after they'd give the Avg. City / Interstate Miles per gallon rating for the various models of cars, Basically a legal disclaimer.

Works great for me on Windows 8 64bit.
