Increases Movement Speed Inside Cities (ignore boring slow run for quests)

Personally, I think they should increase movement speed period. It takes way too long to get from one place or another.
Now, I realize that the majority of the people have movement speed+ gear but I don't and I know there are others like me. And really, it's not been for the lack of trying over the years. Although, I will admit that right now it is easier to get said gear than before.

I realize that this will create problems but... not to sound callous, that's not my problem. Improving this game is what they're being paid to do. If increasing the default movement speed is one thing that can improve this game then I say do it and deal with the resulting problems.

In anycase, I'm just voicing my opinion. The truth of the matter is that they probably won't do anything. XDD

Let's just automatically run faster if we are not on some mob's hate list. And let it stack with the already existing quickening!

With how big the game is, and the fact its getting even bigger, speed is something I think should be improved upon. Even with move speed + gear I think we move much to slow in 90% of cases, the game is very large, and no one can argue that one of the biggest time wasters this game used to have was moving around. Now days we have warps for damn near everything, OP warps, VW warps, Abyssea warps, Campaign warps, Staging point warps, Teleport spells, Recall spells, Warp spells, Retrace, Escape, and gear warps, and yet still a massive part of this game is spent on just moving around the areas you have been running through for years now. I am not sure exactly what could be changed in a good way, to make this better, but an improvement would be nice never the less.

Its just annoying when you think of how much time you spend moving around the areas sometimes for quests or missions rather than actually doing something productive. Its one of the reasons I have yet to finish WotG, I need to do it, I need Moonshade, but after Aht, CoP, and RotZ, its just boring running everywhere all the time with little bits of actual interesting parts here and there.

ofc there is some factors to make the quest cost time - like searching NPC , read wiki , cutscenes and finally walking around .

ppl don't complain (or me) about the others factors - yet ppl start complain about confuse and guild of the quests , how to done quest w/o reading in web site.

all this issue is normal , but in the top of boring is walking around
w/o movement gear speed , you will be in hell time to do x1 quest
not everybody got such this gears , also the important point is >>>

We'll be making it possible to increase your movement speed in town by advancing in new guild-related activities found in Seekers of Adoulin.

For towns outside of those found in Seekers of Adoulin we're thinking about making it possible to increase movement speed while in town via the fulfillment of certain requirements. As we don't want to simply increase town movement speed, we'd like to offer this benefit as a reward for achieving something. Likewise, since movement speed outside of town would have effects on battle, it would be difficult for us to do anything above and beyond the current system. With that said, we will be making adjustments to a large amount of teleportation devices to warp to a variety of areas in order to make game play even more comfortable.

Make Ease of Exploration permanent and I'll buy you a cookie.

What good would that do? Within a week of adjusting the movement speed, everyone would grow accustomed to it and it would become the new normal. Kinda like how no matter how many storage space enhancements they make, folks are always complaining about not having enough space.
