New players on Leviathan

I am originally from Cerebreus, but I have been playing the game for less than 30 days. My free trial is up next month but I guess it will be another free one because of the earthquake. I made an account there [on leviathan] to play with my irl friend who is like a veteran or whatever. I will message you in the game. My name on there is super. I can use any help from ppl that are on. Sometimes it's annoying for the same person to keep answering my questions.

Allow me to explain why my shell is terrible for good ol Nuen there.

We did a dynamis run in jeuno under the new updated dynamis conditions. Pre-spawned mobs, depops (keep depops in mind), low currency rates, etc. We started to camp near the ??? for the Boss pop and proceeded to pull some mobs and start killing. We shifted camp a bit during that and inched closer to the AH, and a few people died in unfortunate spots. Another group was in zone as well and were camped in the spot we were in originally since we had moved a bit. They then moved past where our people had died, and proceeded to wipe. We were trying to get to our party members (2 dead) raised to come back to camp, so i told the other group i would fleesac a whole zone in order for all the dead, not just ours, to get raised. Fled, 2hred, pulled 40 mobs to zone and proceeded to die. Nuen (I wont use the ingame name because thats not how we roll as a shell.) had grabbed about 6 mobs near one of our dead, then proceeded to die. They didnt get sleepga by the blm. Im not sure what was said at that point because it was all in tell between him and the blm, but precious xp was lost and its difficult to get xp back now in less than 45 seconds, and all 6 mobs depopped instead of having to kill all 6 because there was then shared hate. One thing i do know is we had 2 blms in attendance - one who is one of the better blms on leviathan, Junan, and one who is a 40 year old grown man who isnt about drama. All this happened on the SECOND fleesac of the zone i did to get parties (all in zone) raised. I was then immediately told that the whole shell was about self and that he was leaving. Now, any and all currency was freefall, and nobody lotted. Boss pop items went to officers in shell in order to pop on subsequent runs. The only piece of AF that dropped was a PUP piece, and our AF dyna policy is if you have the job leveled and intend to use it, you can lot. If nobody intends to use, it is free after that point. Also, first and only event in about the 2 weeks he was in shell that he attended, despite having offers to come get zone wins in abyssea.

You can read that post and determine that our shell is terrible and selfish, or you can ask just about anyone else on the server who knows me or my shell's rep and make your own mind up. Also, by all means check my gear on the AH site. It's not mega pimp like you would see in most event shell leaders. I allow all my members to get the goods the same as me. Thanks. I just returned after a 1 year break from the game. It appears that most of the people I knew have left the game, so I'm looking for a new linkshell. In the past I usually leveled my 75 BST, but since returning I have focused on my WAR which is now 67. I hope to finish up some missions and get involved in Abyssea. I think you guys might have a few of my former shell mates in your linkshell as well. I hope to get in touch you with soon.

I think I am on the leviathon world and i am situated in vana'diel in the nation of San 'd'oria???? and im a newbie and have no clue what to really do????
