Yeah, basically! I guess they expect us to take care of ourselves while they waste time with trivial matters.

I'm glad there hasn't been any "shut up, thats how it is" posts!

You guys should just do what I do to reinstall. I just put my game on an external HDD. After copying over the registry and registering a few DLLs, the game will work just fine. There I just saved you hours.

That's still somewhat complicated for the average joe and requires some additional work. A possibly easier way is to backup the installation and when reinstalling just install normally (which only takes a few minutes) but instead of updating just copy the old files over the fresh installation. Then just open POL and do a quick file check and everything will be set and ready.
