That is what I am hoping they meant by that...

It should have been spirit recast time (which still wouldn't really help much, seeing as how they don't have enough elemental magic skill to reliably land spells on any high end mobs), but I'm pretty sure it's summoning magic casting time. E.g. how long it takes you to summon something.

There's a well known term for what you are pulling out of thin air: Fast Cast. Yeah... No.

As long as the AI of the spirits will be updated soon in the future, then I don't mind this as an update.

AF2 pants have different wording.

Also, spirits have a hard cap at about 20ish seconds delay reduction anyway, so unless the new merits bypass the cap, it is useless changes.

But useless changes is what defines a SMN

Not completely useless when you switch to full pet:mab. Just mostly useless.
