Yeah, it feels like Divine Seal/Divine Veil circa 2005 all over again. Nice 'ability' that is only up every 10 mins or so.

I assume there will be gear that augments this later on, or possibly merit 3 will buff this. But I certainly hope it's a reasonable buff and not the really unbalanced -20 seconds on all mage JA path they went with for the tier 1 merits.

Yea an 8 minute convert was great for RDM since they get an entire MP pool back, but 8 min divine seal or even Elemental seal was a waste of merits for most people.

My hope is group3 merits will have the following Sacrosancity upgrades

Recast time -1 minute duration +30 seconds per upgrade to 5 levels.

So we get 5 minute recast and 3:30 minute buff. Then there may be gear to eek out a few more seconds.

Reduces magic damage taken by 75%, this is after MDT, MDB etc. have been calculated. Wears off after one 'hit' so knowing when to use it can be important.

I would like it if they could expand the range of it to 20' rather than 10'. As it stands if it's up and I see a mob casting Thundaga IV or Kaustra or whatever there's no way I can run in close enough and use the ability before the spell has already gone off.
