Shinryu Yellow Procs

So you proc yellow, you have a CHANCE at getting two +2 items...theres a pool of 20. The likelyhood you get the one you're after is pretty low. Atleast you can npc that petrified log for 2k, all you can do with that stone of balance is drop it.

Make him drop heavy metal plates, devious die, and silver mirrors instead! More lines at the BC will make you go "What's up with this Shinryu?".

Waste of dev team time for something that isn't worth it.

Add in a "universal" +2 item that you can trade to, say, Joachim for the +2 item of your choice. Have Shinryu drop those. Problem with "useless" drops solved.

They should have had +2s in the loot pool and not had ANY of the junk drops he has. Wouldn't make it a viable way of upgrading, but I'll take random stones, jewels, etc over apkallu eggs and wood.

It's all part of the ongoing poop joke.

Replacing the useless npc items with +2 upgrades, Heavy Metal Plates, and D. Die will peak My intrest. Especially, if they give a 505/50 Chance of one or two of them falling per run; in addition to increasing the rate of Twilight Gear. If this is put into to effecf thay may have to reduce the 200k Primeval Brew (for Shinryu BC only) to 100k. This way Gamers can spam this event without breaking thier cruor account.

Instead of having him drop random +2 items, it could be an item that is traded in for a +2 item of your choice. Trading one of the items could be used to select a +2 upgrade item for Head, Hands, Legs or Feet; and trading two of the items could be used to select a +2 upgrade item for Body.

In the process of adding +2s, ban temp items from the fight while yer at it.

Theres nothing wrong with adding +2, but honestly Shin is just for the twilight drops and in my opinion this should be enough reward for fighting him. You get a kick-butt atma from him, completetion of abyssea storyline which provides 200k brews, and if you go after you've acquired the gear and atma then it's just to help others and costs 10k cruor to do so. Perhaps it's just too easy as it stands now and +2 shouldn't rain from the sky any more than it already does.
