Hope everyone in Japan is ok.
On the topic of ffxi, the servers will be in a completly earthquake-proof room, some server rooms are completly bomb-proof because they are that important to any large company, they need thier servers to survive anything.
Dang, i Hope everyone in Japan is ok too. =(
I was going to say, "Dose this mean we get the game to ourselves now," but the servers are located there too. lol
Safe wishes to everyone in Japan. I hope you can get in touch with your families and friends as fast as you can and they all are safe.
I hope Beni is ok and/or on tour @.@
This is terrible. I think some posts make it sound like nothing but the videos and news coming clearly state a lot of damage and they just said it'll hit Hawaii within minutes. Even Vancouver have to retreat to higher grounds.
=( sad to read that.
News is keeping live video of Hawaii shores right now waiting for the waves...that's scary. It won't go in as far but ya...
The video of a lot of this is crazy. Their news chopper actually recording the water covering entire farm lands etc.Quote:
Tokyo (CNN) -- The most powerful earthquake to hit Japan in at least 100 years unleashed walls of water Friday that swept across rice fields, engulfing towns, dragging houses onto highways and tossing cars and boats like toys.
Local media reported at least 50 deaths, with more casualties feared.
And the 8.9-magnitude quake, which struck at 2:46 p.m. local time, prompted the U.S. National Weather Service to issue a tsunami warning for at least 50 countries and territories.
It also sparked fires in at least 80 locations, Kyodo news reported.
Its epicenter was offshore 373 kilometers (231 miles) away from Tokyo, the United States Geological Survey said.
But residents there continued to feel aftershocks hours after the quake. More than 30 aftershocks followed, with the strongest measuring 7.1.
That other one that looks like a highway with tons of cars and boats been swept under like an overpass
Man this is horrible =( i need read CNN now.
