Nyzul obsolete?

I did nyzul climb (1-100) at 75 cap.

However the first week I was impatient with tags regenerating so I went and spent days of my time wsing to get Drakesbane (not always with a skillchain partner either;; ). 18k in wspoints was not fun at all, but the weaponskill is so worth it.

Now I find myself helping people with nyzul just for the fun of it. Old times sake XD The most infuriating part of it is people not listening, especially on lamp floors. The main problem however is finding helpers just to get into the assault area.

(Basement areas and floor 101+ yes please ;P)

More Nyzul? I think I'll pass.

Dealing with total morons in Nyzul is worse than arguing with someone who truly believes full pink is good...

But how else will you get the set bonus? All the extra sTP makes you ws like twice as much and haste which makes your ws faster. Faster WS = more damage. Velocity, duh.

I agree on the nyzul morons though. I had fun with my static group (who could actually read instructions), and replaying it reminds me of those good old days.XD

I hate it when you get to lamp floors and people just do not understand the concept of what is to be achieved. Its so easy a caveman could do it. But nooooooooo.

But back to main topic. Yes nyzul isle is obsolete. Id get floor 100 and weapons you need then stop. The gear isn't worth the time for farm it for the most part except for one or two pieces of situational gear. I wouldn't go out of my way to get every single piece unless I wanted to "complete" the zone.

Also, I did Nyzul 11-90 in the past month or so ( was kinda lazy about it). The only hard part is manning up and shouting for a bit. Though people nowadays want everything handed to them.

Askar body, maybe Denali legs, and definitely Goliard Body, are the only pieces worth getting.

Other than each set's PDT or DT piece, (Askar feet, Denali hands, Goliard legs), which are all worth having unless you're willing to put up money for the new KCNM pieces (Jingang feet), or use ASA legs for PDT. (I think Denali hands are required for closest to 50% (49%) PDT on MNK, 9% body, 6% head, 5% waste, 5% neck, 4% earrings, 4% legs, 12% rings, 2% hands, 2% feet)

So it's worth going to those floors still if you don't already have that stuff.
