Thanks everyone for the warm «welcome back!» ^^

I just want to finish what I started (if that's even possible lol) and enjoy the pile of character art that follows. Like I've said before, I would much rather be getting paid full time to do just this type of art if I had my way, rather than the other stuff I deal with. This is 100 times more creative and rewarding :D

By the way, I haven't forgotten about posting tid-bits from the mentioned "surprise" a month or so back, so keep an eye out for that too. Again thanks guys & gals /salute

YYYAAAAAAYYYYY!!! *Lion King time* The King.... has returned!

As promised, here's a sneak peak into what I've been cooking up as a supplemental piece of work that could help breath some "purposed-life" into what we have going here in this wonderful thread! An original digital comic series I'm calling "Adventurer's Highlight". (The full details of how the series will work together with this thread is still being finalized but I'll publish them soon)

Adventurer’s Highlight (Premise):
In an Adventurer-protected Vana'diel, the many tales of these mighty stuarts' valor and great deeds are nearly common place for the everyday inhabitance, but these tales are merely rumor and hear-say, not factual documented accounts. For that very reason, in the minds of two brave young journalist, this was a fact that was in sore need of being changed. In their minds, every single hero and heroine who is currently shaping the outcome of the raging war against the forces of darkness should be well documented for all to know, and they're just the two crazy enough to get the job done. Follow the determined Narrow "Slim" Valley, a talented young Galka who has yet to discover his true potential, and his unpredictable snappy Tarutaru partner Marcy-Tarcy as they unravel a story far bigger than they could have ever imagined while constantly on the trail for the next Adventurer to highlight.

you should put the episode 0 for free and the rest for 1$ download.
maybe you can not living with your art but another income will help you speed up the "free" work

i bet lot of ppl here will gladly pay for your comics

yes i know one can get it for free after somebody put it on the internet...but maybe yoou can add some sort of bonus content for who pay :P

Also. Only male tarus have ryming names with hyphons. Girls have repeating vowels. (I.e. Shantoto.)

^^ Narrow "Slim" Valley and Marcy-Tarcy are both teenagers, and it just so happens that Slim being a well... "slim" Galka will be a constant source of both comic relief and story development throughout the series.

Sharp eyes on Marcy's name lol ^.~ It's not too much of a spoiler to say this now, but due to the over baring male-ran journalist companies in Bastok, Marcy altered her name to come off as a Male Tarutaru at least in print to get more work in her budding career. This will also be a running comedic theme throughout the series since very few will actually know Marcy's real name. Didn't expect anyone to notice that so early :D

I love the ART! Very proficient with photoshop (or other method) and adding screen tones. Looks like FFXI inspires more art.

Do I need to request what I want or can I just post: "I would like my Elvaan Monk in AF3 gear using the Black Adargus +2 (glowing blue flames)?

I'm not really sure how far you're into your requests, but, I'd like to modify mine:
Tarutaru Male, face 6a.
Elvaan Male, face 6a.
Both in full Summoner Empyrean armor.

As far as poses, I was thinking something lovey. I was thinking the Taru kissing the Elvaan on the cheek, giving him a surprised look and a blush, but, I figure the Caller's horn would stab him in the face, so.. We could have the elvaan holding or cuddling the taru and have them laughing or something. If at all possible, would you be able to have two Carbies curled up with each other?

No names, just a text that says "I love you".

Everything can remain the same, except, the elvaan should be in full WHM AF3, without his hat, an the Taru should be in full MNK AF3 with Verethragna. Also, minus the Carbies. Persona reasons on changing this request. :S

First of all, I would just like to say your artwork is just amazing. I love art myself but can't draw anything like you Kingfury!

I would really love a signature if it's not too much trouble.

I am a Mithra Face 7, Hair B, the one with brown hair and brown eyes, with the hair tied back. Smallest size Mithra.
My main and favorite job is white mage.

I would like my character in Novennial Dress set and a Glory Crown, maybe wearing a Light Staff or no weapon at all, not sure what would look best.

I would like her to be standing, praying, with eyes closed and hands together (hands kind of like when Mithra are resting), and big, beautiful angel wings. Would also like love it to be snowing.

Other than that just add my name "Whitesnow", and if you could draw her hair a little longer then in game since in the character select screen it was longer.

I think he may be lost in thought. Or trying to figure out how to remove that transparent blue hat he's wearing, I think it might be making him dizzy from all the spinning.

(I teleported after helping someone with a fight, and by chance he was there, and by chance people were replying to this thread, so I figured I'd take a screenshot. Hope Kingfury doesn't mind - my interaction with him in the past is limited to some forum chatter, so I'm not certain if he would. )

I sent King an email with a separate request, a commission. When you reply whats the subject line? Almost everything ends up sent to my junk folder, so I don't wanna have to lose a reply on accident :(

Yeah,they are Gigas.

Its why they're called "Gigas Stonecrusher" or w/e, not "giga stonecrusher". Gigas is both plural and singular.

I was most likely asleep at my keyboard after a long night of skilling up lol (seeing as how I'm carrying my Great sword). Really funny Econ :) Next time I'm online I'll make sure to respond accordingly.

The Idea I have is to be engaged to jormungund using the left fist to be blocking the under side of jormys jaw while going in for a neck strike. The engaged image should give you an idea of what i see. If you need additional imagery i will assist. Great work on all the sigs so far you have great talent.
