It's actually much more sinister than this. 3 or more internet forums had fights that lasted YEARS because some summoners would not main heal with Cure 3.

-World passes were once needed.

-Warriors dual wielded axes.

-Ridill was the most wanted item in the game.

-HNM's didn't go SSJ.

-RMT's got away with botting and camping NM's 24/7.

-XP parties fought over camps.

-End game LS's MPK'd each other at HNM camps. IE: Beetles at Serket.

-Maat's Cap was amazing.

-Game population was so high SE had to make new server's.

-People actually did Garrison.

-O-hat was highly sought after, and was the best TP hat for almost all melee's.

-Aquarius was once killed for money and not just Fransisca's.

-People actually clammed.

-BLM's used to make burn pt's of 5 for KSNM 30's and sell/split all your drops besides V claw or D Ingot's.

-Huge amounts of downtime in pt's under 41, with lack of refresh magic.

-Pulling more than 1 mob was considered a bad thing.

-Taking anything less than an R3 was horrible, because XP loss was so huge.

-There wasn't Chocobo's at Tele-Altep and Tele-Yhoat.

-Barely anybody had Thief's knife's because they were so expensive and rare.

-Devil Manta was once heavily camped and also spawned in Cape Terrigan.

-People set HP's in places other than main city's.

-People played on dial up and red boxes were far more frequent.

-There was no quivers or toolbag's.

Hmm I can't remember was RDM (Red Mage), Sword skill lower then it is now or Am I thinking about another job...

You can still MPK ppl with NM. Aby is very good place to do this in :3

No, that was DSL.

I believe a friend told me mobs pulled with range could run into a hill and sit there humping a wall, free to kill.
