Besides, Square-Enix seems to think that certain linkshells are RMT shells. They would need the evidence to ban them from the game, or at least conclusive proof. It is bad business to randomly ban people just because.

Besides, you really don't get from 1 to 90 in a week of abyssea. Well, level wise you can, but guess what. You got all that skill (combat + magic + actual knowledge) to obtain, and that won't be fun, or easy, or fast.

I consider myself one of the best SMNs in this game, and not because I solo'd it from 1-75 (abyssea got me to 90, I won't lie), but because of the time and effort I put into that job to make it the best it can possibly be. I have solo'd NMs that alliances can't even touch. I know more about aggro ranges and hate calculations than most, because I have solo'd my job. There are some camps that nobody goes to, but I know of because of soloing.

This game is evolving, and it needs to evolve to survive. Getting rid of abyssea is quickening the death of this game, and I for one do not wish for this game to die.

ok a new player cant get a capped char in that frame time. someone who already have few HL job can easily because some skills are already capped or near from other job, or at least at sub lvl cap.

+ leeched war in a cleave pt friday morning (wasn't in front of computer), went back from work @5pm, went to skill up till 9 where i went in a-tarongi to farm glavoid/chloris, ans was able to proc all the red needed, when i went to sleep we had build and kill 3-4 glavoid and chloris.
I aggre with a full caped and well geared war we might have get more glav/chlo in the same time

Unless they want attention.

Just got to remember that different people have different viewpoints in what is fun in a game.

Some people like grinding their jobs to endgame.

Some people like fighting NMs all of the time.

Some people like doing quests over and over again.

Let people do what they want, having Abyssea just gives another option to people.

Outlandish? What is outlandish about this thread?

It's sad. Everyone wants to do stuff outside of Abyssea, but they can't because nobody wants to.

If people would get back to REAL FFXI we can XP in Bibiki Bay and fight Vrtra. Where are the skillchains? Where are the BLM in parties? Nowhere, they have to solo. ABYSSEA ruined that and should be taken out of the game.

Ohhh, vrtra. That is a fun fight. A fight that i will never again be able to do, because no one wants to leave abyssea.

Me and a whole bunch of my friends from different LSes wanted to do Vrtra but we only could get 2 people. Thanks, Abyssea.
