If for some reason you turn that setting off, there's also /ignoretrust which disables targeting of other people's trusts.

That's also good to have in mind. I haven't had the chance to try out the commands yet, but thanks to BobbinT's tip I got curious about more commands, and found this list: https://old.reddit.com/r/ffxi/commen...text_commands/
At the risk of veering too off-topic, I don't think any of these are actually explained to the player anywhere. Are they? Maybe it'd be a good idea to include them in a sort of trust manual somewhere easily noticed by players new and old alike.

Unfortunately, this is how FF11 operates. They did explain on regular update posts, but those can be easily missed.


Anyhoo... for normal usages, /hidetrust on/off & /refa all should be the norm, at least on my end. I probably do /hidetrust off around daily reset just to see how far fps would've tanked, then switch it back on. lol

The available text-commands can be listed with the '/?' command, and a description/usage for any specific command can be listed with '/? hidefaith' for example, but no, I don't remember it being actually advertised in-game anywhere.

Allow trusts to overwrite haste 1 with haste 2, currently if you have a whm and rdm trust the whm casting haste1 means you wont' get haste 2.

I would love to see more Beastmen characters like "The Destiny Destroyers" members: Gloom Phantom, Magh Bihu and Dazbog. I would love to have them in a party with Geesho or Fablinix.

In my opinion, Sylvie (UC) needs to be updated to use Precision or Fury + Frailty on RDM.

No one wants precision. Everyone wants sylvie to do haste.

It should be able to be set in a menu.

I just don't need her to hit me with Indi-Refresh on RDM. 99% of the time I'm using her on RDM I'm engaging a mob. Would rather her treat BLU and RDM as equal and give them the same buffs...

Would not even be an issue if they just left Cornellia alone. Considering they have been expressing wishes for more casual and solo players to be engaged it's ironic they take away everyone's favorite trust. This effectively forces at least one of two jobs out of twenty-two for any piece of content you want to cap haste in.

If I had a platform I would encourage everyone to go on strike and cancel their subscriptions until we get Cornelia forever. I don't mean to come across scathing however development and production are out of touch with their own game. Personally, I have at least fifty trusts I have never called once. Now if I want to engage on casual Limbus climbs my completion time has doubled because the only source of haste that is reliable comes from white and red mages. 80+ trusts and not one source of reliable secondary haste. F*** this game.
