Summoner solo/duo/small group vs Abysea NM Compendium

I have not yet fought Mictlantecuhtli as Summoner due to its annoying switchero between physical DD and magical DD. You could end up healing it all the time and it will end up as a long fight. Best to fight this as Rdm/ninja if you want to have some fun soloing. Blue is also good for this. You would need to finish WoTG mission so you can have Future Fabulous atma, a great one for magic defense.

BP Rage: Shock Squall, Chaotic Strike
Atma used: Ducal Guard, Razed Ruin, Mounted Champion, Stronghold, Minikin for refresh (pick any three that suits you)
Notes: Not recommended to solo, too slow and can be challenging. Duo is better, or trio if you need yellow proc or red proc for KI. You must stun when it tries to cast Thunder on itself. You can do your BP rage, Shock Squall, or come BLM sub and stun it. It will cast high Thunder magic when you pop. Do not come near, because its TP move is AOE and can stun and paralyze you for awhile, also has Bio.

If you are soloing, and sub WHM or SCH, please bring dawn mulsum x 5. Use your healing salve 1 & 2. This mob does not have much hp but trying to get yellow proc can be a bit tricky. Other than that a great source for blue mage and warrior body seal. Have the other SMN set up total tank atma (with 2 regen atma), and you can do total DD atma (ducal is still a must). The nice thing about this mob is that it has a high magic resistance so your blm won't have to worry too much about getting hate as long as he/she wait before spamming the proc spells, Blizzard and Stone spells still do a good amount of damage.

Ninja, Dancer or Thief plus Whm can duo this with ease. Obviously you want ninja for red proc. It does drop 1-2 seals without yellow proc, more often War and Blue body. Pop set run around 70-80k for 3, less if you farm yourself.

Will be testing out Apademak to see if it can be done solo with avatars or in a group of 2.

You need a constant stunner on this NM, and you cannot let it level up, by desummoning your avatar, or if it kill your avatar, it will count as level up. His AOE move can be rather big so a solo summoner getting caught in it as you try to BP can be a bit dicey. 2-3 summoner with dawn mulsum x 6 probably can make a nice work for this. But then you could get a rather crappy drop if you are trying for the horn, and no atma, or KI. Just a report that summoner can do it in a duo or trio. I will post it if I fight this as summoner, I did it as other jobs. I would do a lot of Dhorme Khimaira fight to get a feel of Apademak which is the higher level of this mob on steroid.

To release your avatar without it levelling up, you need to get well out of range (probably 50' but maybe only 30'). You have to stun every spell, which means using ramuh for all of you and cycling shock squall. He casts around every 20-30 seconds, so 2 smn may not be enough with 45 sec recasts. Then the worst thing is that if you use any thunder damage on him, he will level up, so you have to use ramuh, but NOT Thunderstorm or enthunder. Not sure how reliable chaotic strike would be for a stun, but probably not very due to the time it takes to ready.

Yay I got my Atma of the Ultimate + Atma of Hell's Guardian 10k+ damage here i come ^^ I will give it all for my bf where ever he wants it :~

LOL - post your finding. Seems like Abyssea is the only last areas where Summoner can still have their fun.

I have yet to try this out Atma of the Ultimate + Atma of Hell's Guardian anyone pass 11k+ mark yet ? Using Shattersoul ws to decreases target's magic defense then Nuke ?

I've passed the 11k mark, but only on a blood boon using Heavenly strike with Ultimate, Hells, and Beyond. This is with the Delve staff and crown as well. Though My non-blood boons do about 8.5k. Hot stuffs there.

Its been a while so lets add some more of my misadventures to this list.

So for the 2 i was helping a friend get sch body. we decided to do the goblin in aby-grauberg.

Leviathan - Spring water, spinning dive, grand fall

Saw he used all fire attacks so went with ifrit at first this guy attacks like a madman. took ifrit down less than 20 seconds. so switched to levi. as i was constantly using bloodpact he started ignoring my fresh pets and killed me twice. my friend, who was on blm, kited while i got back up got reraise back up and went after w/ new pet. Turul was less of a pain than this guy. near the end another smn joined us and dual leviatans kept him under some control till he died.

We fought that guy for the pop item needed for this guy

Bomblix Flamefinger

Ifrit - flaming crush, infernal howl

this guy much easier that the first gob. ifrit was more than capable of taking hits w/o problems. this guy had a really small kiting area compared to other goblin. and frag grenade one shotted ifrit. make sure you watch your kiting paths and stay away from Frag grenade. Suicidal taru blms help for distraction XD
