60 days, about 25-30 of them bazaaring

It's funny cause I have been playing since the very beginning when the game was released in NA without changing characters or anything like that and I only logged 245 days. I don't set up bazaars tho so thats about 98% actual play time (or sitting more like 200 days of that looking for a party in jeuno lol)

Dont really bazaar much just work odd hours so the game is the only thing to do during my time between work and sleep.

A pretty substantial portion of it is idle time though. Not so much bazaaring as just being idle. Watching moogle spin, or waiting for a group to form for something, or whatever.

@ above poster: Game came out in the US in late 2003. You had to have been playing the japanese version in order to have played before that.

I started with the JP PS2 release as soon as I could track down an HDD provider. An American release was uncertain at that time because of lack of a HDD release outside Japan, and a lot of importers were coordinating to work together on GameFAQs and FFXIOnline.com's forums. I know the JP and NA release dates. I have a Japanese account, and use it on American and Japanese versions of the game, depending on my communication needs at the time. I can't read Japanese very well for missions, but when I need to type it, using the Japanese client I paid for is the only way to not risk a ban for using a modification to allow Japanese input in the English client.

What, you don't expect anyone to import or have some use of multiple languages?

My question is, how many of these hours was spent in {Bazaar}? I now use a mule for most of my bazaaring, but it has really affected my total play time.
