Weapon balances

Is there suppose to be a unerversal truth of:
Relic weapon > mythic weapon>Empyrean weapon> magian weapons> others?
when you consider time/money invesment?

some jobs its Empyrean > magian > mythic > relic

some its magian >mythic > common weapons > empyrean/relic ( namly looking at magic damage here RDM nuking, SCH nuking, and BLM nuking) I am talking about elemental staffs, the level 51 weapons when i say common weapons.

Then you have to consider if you mean inside abyssea or outside. inside for melee jobs empyrean win over all other weapons by a long shot.

Abyssea changes the rules in elemental nuking as well. elemental staffs get close to magian when you get an elemental potency atma. When this happens both most likey would put the mythic weapons under elemental staffs.

Aegis this point is almost useless because of the magic damage taken cap. This fact really become apperent when the Empyrean sheild came out.

I would go on also saying mythics are too hard to get. if you buy alex at 4k each (low end, most buy at 5k on my server, that’s 120 M + all the extra quests, at 5K each its 150M. 150 M is enough to buy a relic weapon ( there is only a few that require a ton of bronze where you need more)

Abyssea hurt a lot of things in this games economy and relic/ mythic weapons is only a part of that. No one wants to do salvage because of the +2 Empyrean gear.

Did square expect abyssea and its atma bonuses change how the weapons compare to each other?
is there going to be upgrades to the relic weapon WS? Maybe a quest where relic weapons can use the Empyrean WS?
Are there plans to rebalance relics with the other weapons?
